US has to choose either Gülenist terror-cult or Turkey, says President Erdoğan

erdogan has lost his mind, following typical dictatorial path. he has lost all my respect.

.
Yeah, well, the USA gave the Government of Afghanistan about 30 days to turn over bin Laden. Then ....
Okay, looks like logic has forsaken you.....no need to troll here anymore.

erdogan has lost his mind, following typical dictatorial path
Can you explain how ?

Edit: On a second thought....i don't care, please don't try to explain.

.
I just love it when foreigners say 'dictator this, dictator that'. Yet when it comes to giving clear examples of him being a dictator, they fail miserably by mentioning accusations and typical rants that the western propaganda media likes to pull out of its ***. That our own anti-akp fellow Turks are using this word is bizarre. Criticism, sure. Using such a heavy label, not done.

Actually, now i understand why the Western propaganda media and some of the Turkish anti-akp politicians and media kept hammering Erdogan with 'dictator/one man rule blabla' for a long time before the 'coup' happened. It was all done to slowly make him lose legitimacy in the eyes of Turks and foreign publics and justify a coup in the future, because, you know, after a successful coup many would say 'well, Erdogan was a dictator anyway'.
Our people will not forget this.

.
One man or lose the 2nd biggest army in NATO.

It's up to the US now, we have helped NATO more than it has helped us:
Korean War
Yugoslavia
Libya
Afghanistan
and others...

NATO never helped us, so we have nothing to lose.

Without Turkey THOUSANDS of US soldiers will need to die fighting for NATO.

Their choice, we could care less and just go team up with Russia.

Why the threats? The extradition treaty is clear and its barriers are not high. At the same time, it leaves little or no room for flexibility on the part of the U.S. government. So just fill out the paperwork and submit the evidence, Mr. E. In the meantime, quit the rants: insulting presidents, cabinet officers, and bureaucrats isn't likely to make them work any quicker for you; more likely the opposite.

Threats is being polite by Turkey at the current situation.

Imagine we had osama bin laden in Turkey and you the USA asked that we hand him over.

What would happen if we said "send us evidence blablabla"... You would invade us in a heartbeat, that is what would happen. So why should we be any different?

And the evidence has already been sent, if you don't hand him over you can forget us handing over anyone in the future as well. Erdogan has said Turkey handed over many terrorists to the US without questions up until now.

What are we your slaves or your allies?

If you don't see us as equals so be it, maybe Russia will.

Turkey is not Pakistan. I don't think Turkey would have hesitated for one second to arrest OBL, nor would the U.S. want him extradited until he had been interrogated him with all the usual courtesy Turkey shows such prisoners.

Under the treaty, the evidence has to be up to U.S. standards, not Turkey's. Among other things, that means it isn't "evidence" if Erdogan argues that it's up to Gulen to prove he's not guilty of the crimes Erdogan alleges, and therefore he should be extradited. Erdo has to supply suggestive proofs of the sort a U.S. prosecutor could use to bring a suspect to trial.

What are we your slaves or your allies?
The question does not apply.

.
Forget Turkey handing over a single person to the US from now on if you don't hand this gulen monkey to us.

We wouldn't invade. Maybe a few well placed Tomahawks.... a little drone action...an Abbottabad type deal maybe.....sure. It's way Erdogan rounded up or fired over 65,000 people that looks a tad 'dictatorish'. He knew who he was targeting before the 'coup' even started. I live in Pennsylvania and I never heard a peep from this guy till Erdogan blamed him for everything.:usflag:

Hmm yeah 65,000 sounds a lot, but if they are working for gulen it's a state within a state and they must be cleaned out or they will always slow us down and cause problems.

You seen gulens house is he like super rich?

From what I read in the news many top business men around the world go visit him at his home there for secret meetings.

But yeah check the evidence and if he really is guilty send him to us.

You wouldn't launch tomahawks on Turkey, that would be like wrapping us in a gift package and handing us over to Russia so we can help them destroy you.

It's funny how both USA and Russia has to keep being "nice" to Turkey, neither of you want us as you long term enemy as it can change the balance between you two :)

What is the Abottabad deal?

.

I live about an hour and a half drive from him. I've only seen it in photos. It's O.K. It's on 26 acres which in that part of the state is nice but not near being 'big'. I know people up there that own 70 acres and more.

But yeah check the evidence and if he really is guilty send him to us.

If he's guilty I have no problem shipping him out. One less is fine by me. You can have a few million Mexicans, too. But certain things about this 'coup' look fishy, though.

Turkey, Russia and the rest of those mooks over there aren't going to 'destroy' anyone. Russia and most certainly Turkey aren't capable of sending people here. We'd have to go to them.

It's funny how both USA and Russia has to keep being "nice" to Turkey, neither of you want us as you long term enemy as it can change the balance between you two :)

I think we'd survive without Turkey.

What is the Abottabad deal?

Uh Oh !! One of 'them'. Where's my tin foil hat ?:usflag:

Yeah he's guilty, which is why US isn't giving him to you, he is a reliable CIA partner, a good friend, someone who isn't too close to Iran, and Russia.

erdogan has lost his mind, following typical dictatorial path. he has lost all my respect.

And how about the real dictators, like sisi and asad, do you think an elected leader's image will suffer just because one despot lover has no respect for him?

.
You give him to me or no hamburgers for you.

How about this? A FAIR DEAL, Murica gives you Gulen, and he becomes president of Turkey, and you give us Erdogan, and he gets to live in a nice house in Pennsylvania. After all, someone just tried to kill the president of turkey, its a dangerous job, its much safer to live in Pennsylvania under CIA protection.
Whaddya say?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1980_Turkish_coup_d'état

The aftermath of that coup in 1980 was waaaaay worse, but that didnt matter since that one was successful and benefitted the US, right?

Of course those Gulenist cult parasites must be rooted out. No state on earth deserves such parasites. That you care more about the Gulenists instead of backing a democratically elected govt says more than enough and also shows the dissapointed clout regarding the failed coup over there in Murica.

Duh, that Gulen guy won't bite the hand that is feeding him. He gives donations to both Democrats and Republicans, is allowed to open his schools in US bases, his green card was recommended by former CIA members Graham Fuller and another guy whose name i've forgotten. Why don't you read what Robert Amsterdam, a fellow American of you, got to say about Gulen and his organization?
