US has no permission to launch drone strikes: PM Gilani

This a time for us to cry not to laugh. Will U laugh if any innocent human gets killed above the law???:smokin:

of course not...i laughed at Mr gilani's gullible statement....there is a saying you can easily tell when a politician is lying...all you have to do is watch his lips if it moves then he is lying.....Mr gillani just proved that .

I would like to laugh on Mr Gilani's statement.

what kind of Head of State he is when he say's no Permission is given and can't direct its Military to take action against it

^^huh? i thought the army was in control all the time the rest are there for show only.

All the politicians are liars. If they are not liars then they are not politicians is so simple. We need to get rid of all these liars to make our world safe from the craps and in peace....these evils don't even deserve to live....they are nothing but murderers and scumbags....Hell with them....:smokin:

we know you(not only you) prefer over democracy

Then sir give your defence Forces your mighty "Permission" to bring down these Flying Objects operating without your "Permission".
I have a feeling that neither(US and Pakistan Defence Forces) of them need or wait got your permission to do their stuff.

Yes ! this has been our space violations for all these years. Nobody can allow murder above the law.It is so sad the worlds highest human rights promoter is infact involved in the killings of the innocent pplz above the law. They killing them cuz they don't wanna give religious freedom to these pplz...very very sad to see and hear that.....

tell us about religious freedom in taliban, al qaida or kattar shariat law. taliban and co are practising jahiliya and nothing else and US is doing good by finishing them. afghans welcomed taliban but it was the horrible mistake they did, no music now movies no this no that life must have been so phuked up there.

Here's the conumndrum...

If the GOP maintains that they are 100% against the drone strikes, the only logical conclusion people can come to is that the Pakistani military is incompetent and cannot defend against a 100 knot fat & slow aerial pig of a target. So the loser in this case is the PAF, and while the GOP maintains face, the PAF loses face.

This very deniability causes the people of Pakistan to doubt the ability of their military to defend their airspace.

The GoP should do one of two things - openly cooperate with the drone operation, or fight back. I'd rather see the former. But this half-way thing is not doing Pakistan any favors.

Yaar...................America kabse permission mangane laga?..............

Gilani bhi acchha majak kar lete hain !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is an operational issue with the fat pig.. unlike the 80's Afghan war.. the PAF is no longer maintaining standing CAP's at the border. Even back then.. the window of opportunity for PAF pilots to score a kill whilst ensuring that the wreckage fell on the Pakistani side of the border was very small, sometimes in seconds.. you are probably more familiar with the intricacies of that than I am.
Currently, even if a rather small Mq-9 is picked up..the time for scramble would be nothing less than 5-10 min depending on which base.. considering most drones dont intrude more than 60km or so into the border.. by the time an intercept is established even a slow lumbering predator UCAV is back within Afghan airspace.
What is not understandable.. is why the PA is ineffective with their relatively large supply of fairly effective MANPADS and AAA.
I doubt the MQ-9 is equipped with sufficient countermeasures... and even if it was, a Missile with the effectiveness of a Stinger block II should be able to see past them and bring down what is essentially a non-maneuvering target.

Its just a public display.. when it comes to the drones.. GoP has an understood policy of looking the other way.

1. Taliban are the people of Afghanistan
2. They have the right to live as they like in their country
3. If they dont want to watch tv, or listen to music or whatever - the world has no right to impose their life style on other people
4. But the world doesnt think that, it considers itself to be unneeded saviour of people of other countries
5. Thats why world starts the war and fails miserably. After failing tries hopelessly to save face (Iraq)
6. For global peace, world needs to understand that people all over the earth are same interms of their rights. Which means they have the right to live as they like
7. It also needs to understand that laws of land of different countries can be different along with different life styles of people of different countries

LOL......., what wil happen if pakistani intercept? Nothing

If the PAF wanted to bag a drone, they could... period. They need not maintain constant CAPS near the border. Simply decide on a few successive days where they would, and the odds of finding one and shooting it down would be high. That presumes that the US does not stand down when PAF fighters are in the area.

If that's the case, then the PAF could use that to their advantage. Launch random CAPS in the active area at odd intervals. This would disrupt drone ops which are, by nature, methodical and slow in how they progress.

And that ignores ground-based defenses. A single SAM battery in the area could deny a large volume of sky. But Pakistan has not done this. The only logical conclusion, which most people reached years ago, is that Pakistan is complicit in the drone ops and allows it to take place.

Congratulations , You were able to come up with a post.

Exactly, Compared to even random CAP.. a hardened stinger site is almost equally effective.. and extremely cheap to set up.
