What's new

US forces will continue to go after threats on Pakistani soil: Obama

Niether do they need your lectures on something you were equally part of, back in 80s - Rather a step ahead of them. You're getting way too off-topic and a little funnier.
But again, Can you do anything about drones? Nope - not a shit! The only way to stop them is to keep going until every single bit of terrorism has been taken care of, Within your soil!

We don't go to the US soil to kill innocent Americans by the use of drone strikes. The Americans come here and infringe upon my sovereignty and kill my innocent people. Do I reserve the right to lecture? If I don't who does? I'm not getting off topic, but merely replying to your garbage.

I'll condemn American drone strikes till the last breath in my body. Try stopping me.

1. I want to know what the official stance is of my government and the establishment.

2. If they are for drone strikes they need to acknowledge.

3. If they are against drone strikes they need to acknowledge, but also take other measures to show their seriousness. A mere condemnation won't cut it. Period.

First, they attacked FATA. Today, they attacked Balochistan. Tomorrow they will attack another place in Pakistan because terrorists can roam around anywhere and everywhere. That's right, terrorists can be in your neighborhood too. This has no ending and who decides when all terrorists are gone? Will this go on and on? You are a crazy madam to believe in these mythical fairy tales. Do you even know that for every one of these militants killed a whole army is ready to replace? What about those aggrieved people who lost their family members? Even if they weren't part of this bloodshed they become embroiled and seek to settle scores. You don't even understand the ABC of this war.

I don't care what the US, the world or you for that matter thinks or believes. Carrying out drone strikes on a sovereign land might be no big deal to you, but I find it horrendous and so do millions of people around the world. Especially when innocent people are killed and targeted. Not very civilized. It defies international laws. There is no justification for carrying out covert strikes which have killed scores of innocent people. This is a very well documented fact.

You don't have to, anymore, Sir!
Continue with someone else.

You don't have any answers. You're probably also benefiting from the blood money offered by the Americans. Which sane person in their right mind could possibly defend such madness on their soil. Please come into my country and bomb the hell out of my people and my land. It is beyond me.

The people of Pakistan are never going to forgive Obama for his indiscriminate drone strike policy which has killed scores of innocent people including women and children. A failed leader who couldn't bring peace to the world, but instead worsened the security of the entire world. From ISIS to Taliban. The entire world is today a more dangerous place.

You don't like my answers to your childish stuff. So why not lets just stop wasting each others' time.

Policy of good cop, bad cop is being played out here, we supply the Intel, they strike, after the job is done, we call them names and the enemy is neutralized. At the end of the day, you don't have 1000s of Zarvans on the street destroying Pakistani property.

No! If our armed forces can't do their job of protecting our sovereignty then might as well hand over Pakistan to the Americans. Also how exactly has these drone strikes helped Pakistan? Which Pakistan was safer PRE or POST 2006?

Thinking like a Pakistani politician the only two options seem to be either prepare for war or just sit there arms folded and do nothing about this.
Pakistani politicians don't control Pakistan's military.

We suck at diplomacy that is why we never are able to find that moderate way to handle such situations.
I don't think that's it. Rather, everyone remembers what happened to Taseer and how his murderer was honored by the populace. Pakistani politicians can do nothing for you if they keep getting assassinated. So they will continue to appease the militants publicly, whether they egg on the Pakistan and U.S. militaries privately or not.

The argument that the U.S. is trampling Pakistan's sovereignty is a thin one. UNSCR 1373 nulls Pakistan's sovereignty with regards to attacks against terrorists in areas not controlled by the state. N. Wazirstan got pounded plenty but Baluchistan has been a no-drone strike zone for years, despite the barely-kept secret that the Al-Q/Taliban leadership operates from Quetta. The only reasonable explanation for this is that Pakistan wanted it that way and the U.S. complied.
It's been clear for some weeks now that talks were at a standstill because the Taliban leadership wasn't budging as long as Pakistan declared it was against its policy to have its own military act against the Afghan Taliban. Yet last week saw the first public acknowledgement that I recall of ISI participation in anti-terror raids [link].
Obama has said U.S. approach remains unchanged, so what is happening is change on the Pakistani side: permission to strike in Baluchustan. The U.S. gets the blame. Pakistan probably gets increased control over Taliban matters. I wonder how far the changes will go?

As long as we are living on foreign aid and our as$---- corrupt politicans don't become loyal or hanged we can't see our selves getting away from this, its just limited to politicians if you know what I mean. :)

Now Pakistan should go after her high value targets inside Afghanistan. Fair enough.

Sorry we can't.

Amazon is a Zionist organisation with strong links to RAW. Pakistan Ordinance Factories will soon manufacture the router for ISPR.

Corrupt politicians control Pakistan's foreign and defence policy? What stuff are you smoking?

This f*cked up policy regarding Afghanistan was designed by the military. Politicians may be corrupt but they are under no obligation to take ownership of this idiocy of the Pindi Boys.

"With the death of Taliban leader Akhtar Mohammad Mansur, we have removed the leader of an organization that has continued to plot against and unleash attacks on American and Coalition forces, to wage war against the Afghan people, and align itself with extremist groups like al Qa'ida.

"Mansur rejected efforts by the Afghan government to seriously engage in peace talks and end the violence that has taken the lives of countless innocent Afghan men, women and children. The Taliban should seize the opportunity to pursue the only real path for ending this long conflict — joining the Afghan government in a reconciliation process that leads to lasting peace and stability."
