Anyone seen the documentary the secret Pakistan by BBC? . Numerous high american officials there are dubious of ISI and accuse them of killing american soldiers in Afghanistan . So it's not only the american side who's in a grey area , ISI has been accused by their top officials of killing their soldiers and interests in Afghanistan . They have been saying ISI is double crossing them since 2001 .

If they keep on doing their drone strikes here and kill we might as well kill a few american soldiers. For anyone who hasn't seen the documentary .

No Idea about that But numerous high ranking american officials state ISI is responsible for killing of american soldiers in Afghanistan . This would be one of the rare instances where I would say its ok because they have been doing these drone strikes in tribal belts and killing people .

The thing is Usa election campaign is coming near and like always they need an excuse for war. lets be very honest we on some level deserved this. we tried to get involve in others problem ended up making it our own. there is no doubt that USA will keep the option of drone strike open for couple of reasons. first to justify to there people that there is a dark world outside USA premises and other to try to sabotage CPEC. i refer to CPEC just for one reason of all that is happening on the issue of artifical islands gwadar would be difficult for them to handle

On the contrary, Pakistan can attack US bases in Afghanistan, Qatar, Diego Garcia as has been mentioned several times on this forum.

I cannot believe a sovereign country will allow a foreign power to bomb its own people(with clear evidence that civilians die in large number)... there is no noise in UN even.. no people's movement in pakistan against it.

Iran has knocked out US drones before & even have arrested US marines, but I don't expect much from our emasculated & castrated military and political leadership.

Policy of good cop, bad cop is being played out here, we supply the Intel, they strike, after the job is done, we call them names and the enemy is neutralized. At the end of the day, you don't have 1000s of Zarvans on the street destroying Pakistani property.

This has been going on for a quite a while now. I have to agree with you that the people who live in large cities and are presumably safe in their big houses don't care, but the question is for how long. This is the result of a careless and inept leadership because their attitude reflects that of the people. A leadership which on the hand "condemns" drone strikes, but on the other hand tacitly approves them. The people don't seem to care anymore and that is a failure of the leadership. Don't expect anything from the people or the leaders. The Americans will keep paying their bribe dollars and this will go on whilst the world watches silently. I've come to the conclusion that even strikes in Balochistan won't bother these people.

Taking those drone out is as easy as squatting flies. The problem is what happens after. That would amount to declaring war on USA. So the question is not can we knock the drones out because that is easy. The real question is does Pakistan want a war with USA over the drones?

That is something Pakistan has to decide. So far the pointers suggest Pakistan does not want war with USA over the drones.

It would not just be Pakistan the US will be facing.

I agree. A leader or its people who don't even care about the territorial integrity of its borders and regions is very telling. It is like everyone is fending for themselves. This is the unfortunate truth.

These Americans are at war with Pakistan because Pakistani soil is a very very broad term. I frankly can't wait for Trump who will even plan troop incursions. Yet, some people here are dreaming about American F-16s... LOL

Pakistanis should also gear up for mass drone strikes in Balochistan. Something I have been predicting for years. Balochistan has always been their prime target. They cannot fathom Balochistan as part of Pakistan. Even more so after China has gained access to this rich province. Some Pakistanis were rejoicing drone strikes on their soil in the FATA region. Now, they are going to strike at will even in Balochistan and elsewhere so your wish has been granted. Drone strikes are going to be a reality in other places in Pakistan. Pakistani soil means Karachi, Peshawar, Lahore etc. could all be next on the list because high value militants could be hiding everywhere and anywhere, right? Besides, the Americans aren't hiding their motives at all. The chickens are now coming home to roost.

Sorry but the stats would say otherwise - the frequency of drone strikes has been cut down by 85% since past year, Since there are very few targets left for them in Pakistan. What i see is Americans no more do it every third day.

Your PM was informed about the attack. That means it all happened with the conscent of the govt which basically represents the majority of people. What are you crying about?

If you have people wanted by them on your soil, they are gonna come hard. And you can do literally nothing about it. We all already know how much the both countries have the mutual trust.

You know what this tells us? That either they are doing a bad job of lying to the people and are just hand and glove with the Americans or just plain incompetent. There is no other possibility. I'm not buying how an American drone can just enter Balochistan and carry out a drone strike without the concerned authorities even knowing.

during musharaf period american drones used to fly from pakistani airstrip... that seems to have stopped.. after 9/11 musharaf basically said I will do whatever you tell us to do, to american leadership.
