All these countries can be connected and integrated via CPEC.
Why do the Americans need to be involved?
The Americans are unreliable and untrustworthy.
They have a history of walking away once there strategic objectives are achieved, leaving someone else holding the baby.
The Americans are bad news.
American business community does not backstab or deceive any country by large. There is far greater likelihood of being back-stabbed by an Asian business entity when dealing with one in personal capacity - I know from experience.
American business community is always looking forward to do business with others. American politics is a different matter whatsoever.
Let us be honest with each other. Both countries have mismanaged the bilateral relationship; not a one-sided issue (Hussain Haqqani anyone?).
If Pakistan devise a COHERENT foreign policy and a geopolitical roadmap to adhere to -
Americans will know what to expect in the long-term and fall in line. Not just Americans, this is true for all foreign politicians. This is
not possible with
political sellouts in our ranks however.
Lesson is simple: do not oblige American/foreign politicians to win favors at personal capacity (Pakistani politicians emphasized), they will not be under any illusion consequently. Be straightforward and upfront in your dealings with them. Do not compromise on economic considerations for your country; issue contracts to foreign entities on MERIT.
Political sellouts are always looking forward to make properties abroad and facilitate money-laundering schemes for the needful. These politicians are guilty of making shady dealings with foreign entities - interests of the country are not the priority. This dynamic should be nipped in the bud if Pakistan is to prosper and not compromise on its interests.

Trade with American business community has grown significantly in recent years:
- https://tradingeconomics.com/pakistan/imports/united-states
- https://tradingeconomics.com/pakistan/exports/united-states
Pakistan have Trade SURPLUS with USA (EXPORTS > IMPORTS); this is 'net-positive' for domestic economy.
Trade DEFICIT introduces a gap between IMPORTS and EXPORTS of a country, and puts strain on the economic outlook by extension. If this gap widens, the country is under risk of falling into DEBT TRAP to make ends meet which is the case with Pakistan.
Solution is to reduce the gap between IMPORTS and EXPORTS and facilitate growth of domestic industries for the needful.
Have a look at Trade DEFICIT with China; you will be screaming. Reason is simple: China is a manufacturing juggernaut and respective Pakistani governments did little to uplift domestic industries. China is giving us CPEC to offset this dynamic in theory but this is contingent upon decision-making of Pakistani governments; to allow Pakistani business community to capitalize on this initiative. The SEZs - let us see how these pan out in the long-term.
There will always be CRITICS of any project whatsoever. This is human nature. Why WE get ticked by what a foreigner has to say about CPEC? Just don't be and carry on with the good work.
If CPEC turns into a success story (hopefully) - it will be an economic model to tout in the years to come. Let the work do the talking.
LAST;
If somebody, or an entity, is giving empty promises - show it the door. Very simple.
