yes, That was once reason Pakistan got Involved in Afghan war in the first place, Pakistan was worried about been sandwiched between India and Soviets , hence Soviets has to be defeated .. America did or try to did the same thing , bring in heavy Indian Presence in Afghanistan , let RAW operate freely funding TTP , JuA , BLA and BRA in Baluchistan .. that is when America cross the red line for Pakistan, also probably the day Pakistan lost all trust on America and its intention .

Accusing US of involving India is not nitpicking on words but about revisionism. The record is clear -- that India was a Soviet ally at the time of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. That kind of revisionism is intended to LIE to the readers. But am not surprise such revisionism/lies are tolerated here. I doubt if anyone outside of the American forum members would have spoken up.

Taliban have beaten two super powers as compared to Indian army who despite winning all wars (as per Indians) cannot browbeat much smaller Pakistan as per wishes of their nation

Taliban are much better fighting machine than Indian army despite all bollywood movies and Arnab Goswami saying otherwise

Had americans not brought in India into afghanistan and central asian equation, pakistan would have kept cool and let it be with a bit of ease.

when india was involved , it was clear to Many that Pakistan will do everything in its power to keep Afghanistan and central asia away from indian hands even if it means taking over the role itself.

with all due respect , do i need to do research on this ? I mean of course for the world India has build so many consulates for development but we all know what they been doing from there, Plus Its hard for me to believe that Indian RAW can run a well established Network to support TTP , JuA , BLA and bRA against the knowledge of America or CIA .

To win Afghanistan all the U.S had to do was keep Pakistan on side
Best way to do that was understand Pakistans own security needs

How did the U.S fcuk this up

1- Let the indians access to Afghanistan even though it matters nothing to the U S, they should have understood the hatred Pakistan has for india and the absolute intolerance it would have had for indian presence

2- Let Afghanistan government mouth off against Pakistan and try to use India against Pakistan
The U.S should have slapped the Afghan government and kept it in line
The moment Afghan government started this dopey behaviour is the moment Pakistan thought what's the point of trying to help or support a enemy

3- although many drone attacks etc were coordinated, some were not
Also involving death's of Pakistani soldiers
It made the U.S dangerous and something that had to got rid of not helped in Afghanistan
