Besides Egypt, no Arab country has the power to launch a major invasion of Israel. Syria's Army was good in the 1970's but since then it has been seriously degraded. Jordan has a small but powerful military but Israel can easily deal with it.

Egypt has a large and powerful military but it needs to move formations to Sinai which is a de-militarized zone.

And Israel has nuclear weapons to make certain its strategic depth is not violated.

And not only that, Israel can take out the Aswan Dam which will flood half of Egypt.

In essence, Israel cannot be destroyed.

Agree with your assessment but could you give some more information about the Aswan dam. Are there any other dams or strategic points which can destroy Egypt's fighting capability?

If this dam is destroyed, it will kill a major part of the population of Egypt and scare everyone else out of the country. It would be the largest human catastrophe in history.
