US Drops a Bomb Every 12 Minutes on Someone ~ 24/7/365

The question is: How many innocents have died in this constant bombing campaign?
And who is going to give that certificate? US?
So to capture one Osama Bin laden (or may be his few hundred associates) you murdered millions of Afghanis, Iraqis and Syrains and now asking shitty question in your comfortable room that how many of them were innocent?

.
To be honest, I did not get the point you are trying to make here. Please explain for my benefit. Thanks.
Well, if after a week or argument you say that you are not getting the point and i should start over, well,,, lets just forget it. Let us just say that we do not agree with what US does in those extra 11 minutes. :-)

I was referring to your post #59 only:

Well even viewing those murdered as being Muslims or Christians do not suite the secular progress world in my opinion? Should it really matter? i mean, the modern world do cares about Human life being lost!! No matter what. Right?

What does "suite the secular progress world" mean when viewing loss of human life? As a result, I cannot fathom what exactly should or shouldn't matter as you refer?

I do agree with you that the modern world does care about human lives being lost, whether be it from violence of any kind, or Ebola breakouts or earthquakes, and tries to help as and how and where possible.

I meant the fact whether those being killed are Muslims or Christians, that should not matter. If that is the case then saying that "see most Muslims being killed by other Muslims, selective outrage by a hypocritical few does not go far" Should not really matter. I mean, whatever the case is, a human life lost will not go unnoticed and termed a "policy" matter.

Ah, now it makes sense. That is exactly why I said this earlier:

Disapproval of bombing is fine on a moral level, but it is merely policy by other means according to international geopolitics. One must understand the difference.

We both agree that violence of all kinds is abhorrent.

My use of the term "selective outrage" refers to pointing out only certain geopolitical players while ignoring others doing the same things. That hypocrisy is noticeable and hence diminishes the robustness of the arguments of those making them.

For example, it was Russia that invaded Afghanistan first and created the firestorm continuing till today. USA came there only after the 9/11 attacks. And please do recall Russian tactics in Chechnya and Syria. But of course, it will now train Pakistani officers after USA stopped such programs, so all of that can be ignored. Or not.

Or may be Saudi Arabia in Yemen is a better example?

War, and associated tactics, are an integral part of international geopolitics pursued by all, as and when needed. It really is as simple as that, no more, and no less.

Such decisions are never made lightly by anyone.

Absolutely!!
I dont approve Saudi bombings in Yemen, have criticized that in equally harsh tone and words as i criticize US killings in Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq or elsewhere. I am yet to see something similar from the civilized world or its citizens who would easily deviate or at least try to deviate any discussion that mentions civilian causalities in Iraq to Yemen crisis. Two wrongs do not make one right. I am, inst it being a hypocrite? Who will talk about killings in Yemen to justify those in Syria or Iraq or Afghanistan or Pakistan or Burma or elsewhere?? That is what i personally will ALWAYS oppose.

See, we both agree on a personal level about such issues, 100%.

However, it does not prevent Pakistan as a sovereign national from pursuing its national interests, just like all other nations, according to the rules of international geopolitics. Wouldn't you agree with that?

Well i do agree that Pakistan or any other nation will always pursue its national interests (or it should). However if those are a harm to humanity and world peace, i do expect the citizens of that nation to be concerned about it and to not be OK about it only because its their country doing it. Perhaps i am asking for too much!!

No this is not too much, infact even as a country we should not harm other nations to gain geopolitical advantages

I can assure you that engaged citizens of any country involved in war are concerned about it, whether be it USA, Russia or Pakistan, or any other, and participate in all avenues available to them to let their thoughts and feelings be known.

If you say so.... :)
