They are, very effectively. They are called elections. Just watch the next midterms.

The thing that elected Bush twice, brought Obama to power twice and now Trump? They are, very effectively. They are called elections. Just watch the next midterms.

Well if elections are a true reflection of what the people think about all those killings, well, i would say that it seems like to them its just a late night TV show. Otherwise they would not have voted for continuation of those wars.
Lets wait and see how much misery the US public is willing to accept for others to ensure a better living for themselves. Waiting for that tipping point really, not just for Americans but Humans in general. The economy towers over all other issues, but the others are important too. The cost of the wars in blood, sweat and tears is now mounting to a point where it cannot be ignored much longer. These things have a tipping point that takes consistent effort to reach by engaged citizens.

Ooops, time to go, 11 minutes are up. Time to stop singing Kumbaya for world peace and harmony and lob another bomb.
Fair enough, let us talk about bombing. Is it only the US doing that?
What about the USA first establishing "No fly zones" over sovereign countries, and then bombing those countries under the corrupted flag of "United Nations"?
Whataboutery it?
It seems like a pretty effective technique to me
After all, if other nations could do this, they would, too. In fact, many other nations wish to have the capabilities the USA actually does possess, leading to such comments. It should be kept in mind that power seems obscene only in the hands of others, but not when you have it yourself.
Do Russia and China go about bombing countries?
Technically effective, no doubt
So Russia showered rose petals in Afghanistan and Chechnya, just as an example?
Afghanistan was an international war. The Western powers supported a few rebels but mostly terrorists from all over the world. That war is similar to the Libyan and Syrian war of 2011-present.
Chechnya was a rebellion, and I believe that presently most Chechens was to be part of Russia. But I also think it was a brutal war. Also, the West cannot claim moral superiority when they support Ukraine's war against Crimea.
^^^I have no interests in indulging your whims. We are speaking in principles that you know you cannot meet and that is why you seek to get the issue bogged in the details.
Of course you are -- when it comes to US.
Sorry, pal. But the Geneva Convention were formalized AFTER WW II.
That 'implication' is by YOU via your flawed understanding of the rules of warfare, not from me.
You want to view US in a negative light? Go ahead. Am not here to change your mind. As I have always said before, the main reason that ANYONE should debate any subject is the unknown number of silent readers out there. It is their minds you need to change. Good luck, because right now, no one in his/her objective mind is going to believe that the Taliban or Al-Qaeda are privileged combatants or that Saddam Hussein was righteous in his gassing of the Kurdish villages.
Of course you are -- when it comes to US.
The idea is very simple: Put on a uniform.^^^
Your false assumptions about my state of mind and nothing else.
I never justified Saddam's or Assad's or Russians' actions...For me they're the same as the US.
I made posts on this very forum condemning Assad's bombing of his own people.
You on the other hand follow dual standards when it comes to the war crimes committed by your state.
