US disappointed with the way Russia, China exercise veto power in UNSC

That's a bit rich coming from the US. Israel has engaged in all kinds of illegal activity under international law (most recent one being of course the building of illegal settlements). Who has been vetoing any resolutions to bring justice to that part of the world?

Look who's talking

Though, I don't agree with this whole Syria thing. Both sides included. The human price is just terrible.

Because we believe that what is the real affront to humanity are the very countries/regimes who stand by the likes of US and France (and regional allies like Israel, Turkey, Qatar) in their ideological and historical hatred toward the last progressive front in the Middle East, which is Syria.

The West have their reasons for not liking dictatorships. Be it Syria, Myanmar or any other country. Syria is one country that had many coups in the past and that is what got them into trouble with the West to begin with. The result being years of economic sanctions and at least a generation of potential lost. And there is Israel, some deeply religious/ideological reasoning there. Does personal ideology justify these? Last time I checked, Syrians are a secular lot. It's hard being green eh?

I do not think you truly believe in humanity, so please spare the BS. The bombing of the UN aid convoy by none other than your forces had no justification whatsoever. Religion or no religion.

I think one of the main reasons being that the Russians are ramping up their presence in the Mediterranean. Otherwise, it would have been just another civil war in just some other country that no one would care about.

One had to give to Putin, he certainly knows how to put the ball in somebody's court.

They don't effing care. It's all about money and power for them. They are all the same coming in different shades of color. And flags of-course.

I know that. I know your critical view of the US. But, on this particular issue, I see you are falling squarely on the US camp by criticizing Russia (and by extension, China) for using its veto power to prevent a condensed coalition attack (which would likely be composed heavily of US, France, UK, Turkey and the Gulf) on the Syrian government.

Obviously, we, and probably our countries, are not looking eye to eye on the Syrian issue and I am proud of China's position on this, whether you call it mischief or not.

I was talking hypothetically of your position on US veto power on the Syrian issue, particularly. Logic dictates that, being on the same side with the US, Israel, KSA, Turkey and the likes, US' overwhelming power over China and Russia on the Syrian issue to your liking would be to your interest.

However, your interests are squarely against and inimical to our interests.

I simply want the majority in Syria to have a say in who's going to be their leader and it doesn't have to go against anyone. I support democracy in Syria because assad is oppressive not because the US is against him. Mine is a principle stand while the US stand is strategic. I oppose israeli oppression against Palestinians and by saying so I cannot simply turn a blind eye to the oppression against the Syrian people. The Syrian people took up arms only after their legitimate demands were met by bullets from the assad regime. If assad had respected the wishes of the majority most probably people like me would support assad against other candidates in a general election for his stand against israel but unfortunately assad didn't choose that path. This way the assad regime has unwittingly played into the hands of the zionists; even if assad stays or goes its a win win situation for the zionists.
