All of the above is already happening de facto.

The Americans will continue to put pressure anyway they can. Whether the supply routes are there or not.

The Americans have a lot of "grievances" and they make no secret of them.

How much is Pakistan willing to give in to accommodate American "grievances"? That's the million dollar question.

Are we willing to put our relations with China on the line? Are we willing to put our nuclear weapons on the line? The list goes on.

Pakistan needs to decide and it needs a firm stance. Some decisions will have consequences, but they are worth it.
