Every where ?
Your dam stupid glory days are over , while pushing the world into your tailored kaos ?
Its time for you to taste what you cooked so long ?lolzz

Putin ? That fella is busy keeping the crashing economy afloat. He is least bit of our worry now. Believe that !

And in hind sight the saudi spearheaded islamic alliance is good for united states because we will leverage our friends in saudi family :)

No need
Just join Saudi coalition and do some flying with their planes over Yemen and all such opposition will be sent packing to India
Saudis have the hold and clout in America indians can never achieve even with vedic diplomacy

I don't think US will give such importance to anything happening in Yemen unless there is direct Iranian involvement- I don't think Pakistan should be giving such importance to Yemeni conflict for just 8 F-16s- Don't make yourselves such cheap people- go for 80 F-16s and 40 EFT If you are such desperate-

Albeit even Pakistani papers are quoting Indian sources, none the less some points to ponder.

Several requests for clarification and information were made by members of the House of Representatives, effectively “stalling” the process, said a congressional source, according to the Hindustan Times.

At least one member of the Senate, a Democrat, has put a “hold” on the sale, a legislative process of a request to delay floor action on a measure, a bill, nomination or sale. In effect, the sale has been “stalled”, multiple congressional sources confirmed. They, however, clarified at the same time it does not mean the move has been “cancelled”.
From here, there are two ways the proposed sale could proceed, sources said. One, the administration answers all the clarifications sought, and lawmakers let it go through. Two, the lawmakers refuse to allow the use of “foreign military financing”, forcing the administration to look for alternative funding if it still wants to go ahead with the deal.

I believe number of planes are too less, so it would clear soon. USA wants us to be stick with them in any way. This deal does not make any big difference in PAF as well for opponents.

Hang on there everyone. "Lawmakers used clarification and information notices to delay the sale."
Is it just me who sees this as a desperate act by the lobby? It's like a teacher has just sprung a surprise test on the class 15 minutes before class ends. A few students try to stall the teacher handing out the test by asking several clarification questions.
That's the job of lobbies, to try and make things harder for opponents. Otherwise there won't be any use of them and they wouldn't get paid.
On another note, Pakistan needs to increase its lobbies many times over in all the powerful countries. They should even allocate research teams from the defence budget to find out new ways to do so.

There is a Pakistan caucus but its become ineffective over the years as Pakistan does not have economic means to win over big names and lacks the luster to win friends on popularity. So our interests in the US have been more or less been pushed to the bottom. The Israel and Indian lobby, the two most influential both occupy a very anti-Pakistan stance which just serves to drive us further into the dirt.

There is no DSCA notification to congress yet how congress stalled the Bill ????.?Sabzi propaganda fix ur tiolet issue guys first @Windjammer plz close the thread when there is no Bill yet how it would stall ????

Pakistan should explore other option more seriously like j16, su35 etc. America is now like a girl if you follow it it will make you more. Just ignore amrica buhader ..it will and needs to follow Pakistan.
Only a strong character and strong ruler is required in Pakistan all things would follow Pakistan not only f16v.

WE NEED RAHEEL SHARIF IN SHAPE OF ARMY DICTATOR....and hang all falters.

All America want to safe Pakistan nuclear asset from extremist. Otherwise, don t see any US interest in Pakistan.

wow.. so nice of them,.. why we dindn't realized that earlier..

Don't pretend to b so naive,. Don't fall for their words..
To me, what they want is to neutralize Pakistan of their Nukes and make them ready to be kicked by the Indians,.. Nothing more... and this statement "To safe Nukes from Extremist" was an excuse to interfere in the nuclear program and check its capability and ways to destroy it...

And what they want is to divide Pakistan in 4 parts,..

We have been hit with sanctions in 70s, 80s and 90s, it was due to these sanctions that Pakistan became self sufficient in some fields else we would still be marching around in Korean era equipment, it was during these sanctions that Pakistan turned nuclear and despite many last minute juicy incentives by Clinton administration, we went ahead with our tests, all because due to US one sided policies, it had lost that leverage it once held, i doubt US would want to try same policies again.
Sanctions may provide impetus for self-sufficiency in certain areas but they actually harm the economy and industry.

Russia before sanctions imposed on it during 2014:

9th largest economy in the world
2.1 Trillion USD GDP

Russia's status at present:

13th largest economy in the world
1.2 Trillion USD GDP

Western sanctions 'severely' harming Russia: Putin - Yahoo News

---

Contrary to the popular belief at home, Pakistan was in a really bad shape during the period of sanctions. They harmed our economy and industry and we are still lacking in both areas. Pakistan's military readiness also suffered a major setback because it faced shortage of spare-parts to maintain its equipment. While Pakistan had developed the atomic bomb, it lacked in delivery capability back then.

Pakistan endured the sanctions due to following factors:-

1. Several countries (including Saudi Arabia) sustained Pakistan's economy.
2. Pakistani people coped with the situation at home with simplicity.

At present, people are becoming accustomed to luxuries and urbanization. Moreover, Pakistan have lot more to loose now then in the past.

So sanctions are not welcome. At any cost.

we would be glad if US cancel the deal ...
if not than maybe lets wait till the fog fades away

No doubt PAF loves the F-16s , the performance of Block-52s has been beyond expectations, however PAF high command during a recent visit to Washington made it clear that if US goes about beating around the bush again then times have changed as PAF has other options.
This is not the nineties !
Also keep in mind the carry on with the Super Cobra gunships, which were eventually cleared for sale to PAF.
On a side note, if US wanted any restrictions on PAF F-16s, why would it supply with CFTs, and recently it has emerged that instead of the standard 500g drop tanks, US supplied PAF with special 600g tanks for the F-16s....so they could strike even deeper in enemy territory.... God bless America and LM

Jammer bhai agar options hain to phir sirf words like paf made clear he kyn? Why don't we put our money where our mouth is and actually show them. Than either they will approve just like they did with Zulus or not, either way we need we need a US free front line fighter.
