I hope so. I've had faith that the stereotype that Asian, and Chinese in particular, are magnitudes more intelligence than US bumpkin Americans was actually true. Sadly, based on the quality of many Chinese posters, not all as some provide good quality discussions, my faith has been shaken.

I have heard people talking about Asians(east Asians especially) having a high IQ/intelligence etc..etc.. But then agian, if that was true, why is that its we in the west/U.S that are leading the world technologically,financially,culturally,economically etc? Moreover if they were so intelligent, how come the U.S still controls/have military bases littered all over Asia?lool Afterall, i dont see any Asian country controlling/having military bases in the west/U.S or anywhere else for that matter.lol So talk of high I.Q or being msarter than the west/bumbkin American is bullshit to me. But..

(1) The CIA and NSA knows darn well they themselves are more publicly scrutinized and monitored by the public and journalists since the 1960s in which they conducted LSD experiments on humans.

(2) These biowarfare labs may be there, they may conduct business as described in your article ("develop the biowarfare agent to develop the vaccine (and end up with a potentially useful weapon and experience in dealing with biowarfare agents (which is important given what Russia and China are most likely up to themselves in this area)))", but I don't think they would experiment on humans in the region. They would surely lose their welcome to stay there, and I think they'd be good at keeping biowarfare agents locked up.

Every now and then nonsense stories pop up accusing the U.S. of starting epidemics. But the U.S. unilaterally stopped its bioweapons program over forty years ago and pledged to keep it that way by treaty. After the USSR broke up it was discovered the Soviets secretly continued their biowarfare program - but no rumor ever started that the Russians might be testing such things in Africa. Note, too, that the sources of such stories almost always are sympathetic to Communism or the Putin regime. It's enough to make one wonder what's really going on, yes?
