Friend...Like for your Palestine is important, for us Kashmir is important...At least India is always flexible enough to support Palestine for almost 50 years of independence...But every nation expect some favor or support in return.Most of the Muslim world support stand of Pakistan with respect to relation with India in Kashmir issue...And because of Islamic world never supported whole hardheartedly against India against Pakistan, so Isreal ceased the opportunity and came closer to us...And your support of Kashmir people..I respect it..But your interest does not allign with India's interest...

Well I understand that. All I am saying is that you cannot expect tiny Palestine that is under a fierce occupation to show much goodwill to India in regards to Kashmir. I think that a neighborhood in Mumbai is more populous than 5 million strong Palestine.

Besides I am no expert on that conflict but my principal stance is that the Kashmiris themselves should choose which country they want to be a part of if any. Maybe they prefer to have their own country at the end of the day. I do not know. After all it is their land/province that is thought over. Not Mumbai or Karachi.

All I am saying is that you as a human and person can support legitimate struggles of people without demanding anything in return. Especially as none of us are leaders of any countries here.

Well I understand that. If I had to choose I would not create allies based on religion. That's a silly strategy and besides India itself has almost 200 million Muslims. As many as Pakistan.

Don't expect much from any leadership of the world. Rarely do any countries and leaders genuinely care about justice. It's all mostly about influence and business. Hence why every single European and Western country do not speak out against human right abuses in China (they exists everywhere so I am just using China as an example) because they fear that ties with China would be destroyed and China is a huge international player.

Instead the West openly criticizes much smaller and weaker countries as they have nothing to lose.

Jordanian. It required 9 yes votes out of 15 in order to be adopted (after which the US could use its veto powers) but it only got 8.

No if it got nine votes the resolution would have been adopted. However, the US being a permanent member of the SC has the power to veto a resolution. So, no it still would have been canned.

I don't think any of the nations supporting the resolution thought it would be adopted and implemented. The result is still marginally in the Pals favour in terms of PR, the Israelis are still seen to be unwilling to compromise and commit to a peace process while the US appears to be supporting occupation.

Palestine issue is completely different from Kashmir issue. Kashmir is integral part of India and in case of Palestine the whole situation is very different. India do understand who are real friends of India and Indian people and who are having cultural similarities. With time , people will understand by themselves where the Indian nation stand and who see Indians with pride and honor.

According to the Rome Statute, the Palestinians will become a party to the court on the first day of the month that follows a 60-day waiting period after depositing signed and ratified documents of accession with the United Nations in New York.

The ICC move paves the way for the court to take jurisdiction over alleged crimes committed in Palestinian lands and investigate the conduct of both Israeli and Palestinian leaders over more than a decade of bloody conflict. Neither Israel nor the United States belongs to the ICC.

Mansour said the Palestinians have also formally requested retroactive ICC jurisdiction "with regard to the crimes committed during the last war in Gaza." He was referring to Israel's 50-day war against Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip this past summer.

Palestine is one of the most important issue for India and frankly speaking GoI has proved that India is not against Muslims or Islam. Arab world always see towards India as a brotherly country. Collectively the Arab world is India’s largest trading partner, with bilateral trade increasing to over US$ 180 billion in 2012-13.

Economic development and security are more pressing matters for India. Palestine dispute is between Israel and the Arabs and we would like to see a 2 state solution but we should not get involved in the dispute and stay neutral.

No shit guy, Hamas has been telling your party this for years. Armed struggle is only option. First step is to demand from Egypt and Jordan to allow our people to arm. Instead Abbas(President not official in OP) is more preoccupied with getting Arab nations to hate Hamas in order to weaken them. Best thing is to form United policy. Which all factions have asked you for. Abbas responded by saying he is President and will do what he wishes. Thereby ignoring all demands of palestinian representatives. That must change soon.

You shouldnt be that harsh to Abbas, if there is a chance of independent Palestine then only with goodwill of US, thats politics, you need the support of superpowers to archive something internationally, see Kosovo.
At least hostility wont help either.
