In the past India wouldn't have allowed but situation is now changing very fast.... We won't be able to match China militarily and economically...... India accepting to join QUAD is a first step..... We will surely allow such bases to USA..... Imagine THAAD systems, F-22 Raptors, Nimitz class carriers, LA , Ohio class submarines in India under QUAD...... Just wow

Not only USA military presence is a great deterrence but this will help us also to reduce our small defence spending even further and divert funds for development.....

I asked a client of mines who's a Lt. Gen US Army as for the Indian role in QUAD his simple answer "cannon fodder", to not make it sound bad he went further and said the same for Pakistan.

You have to understand the mindset they have between European Allies is different than our part of the world. To them we're expandable. This is the cold hard truth, and he wasn't the only one to ever say this.

Our leaders in Asia are to stupid to realize when their being used.

By that logic everybody including Israel, Japan, South Korea (all asian countries) are cannon fodder for USA.... if being a cannon fodder guarantying the safety of India from its enemies, making it possible for India to lower defense expenses and divert funds on education , health and other public welfare programs then in my honest opinion I wont mind India becoming a cannon fodder of USA....
