How would that defeat have looked for which you appear to be cheering? Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia running the show, maybe?

Anyway, here's how I read it. Iraq's broke and on it's azz. We invade. No Saddam. No b'aath party. Kurds freed and no more gas attacks. Shias freed and no more mass slaughters. No WMD for the FORESEEABLE FUTURE. No invasions of Iran (and gas attacks), Kuwait, or Saudi Arabia. $66B in reserves and signing PRC oil contracts among others left and right. A whole bunch of purple-fingered elections in a democratic arab nation.

Some defeat.

Vietnam wishes now that they'd lost. They'd be fifteen years ahead.

and About 90-100K Deaths and massive sectarian violence which the US ignited so that iraqis don't kill American's and keep fighting with each other.Iraqis treated like animals by US Armed Forces.
I am sure they are very happy about this democracy.

I think the only way Muslim countries can get out of the mess they are in now is if Muslim countries form a union. We can stay as sovereign nations but we should have some kind of union with other Muslim countries from Turkey to Middle East to Central Asia to Pakistan to eastern Asian Muslim countries Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Theres over 1.5 billion Muslims in the world, if only we were united we would be so strong and no one would dare threaten us.

tune into any Pakistani channel and they'd tell you how badly you have been repulsed in both afghanistan and iraq...just like we have been beaten fair and square in kashmir and in Siachen....you'd be amazed to know how many conspiracy mongers we have amongst us...

Why don't you start your campaign of Islamic brotherhood with millions of Afghan citizens living in Pakistan? You are the one who talks about driving them out of Pakistan. You will sure win their goodwill. After all, they are also your Muslim brothers & sisters, aren't they?

The Afghans are not Muslims they are the barbarians of the 21st century who grow poppy crops to fuel their thirst for war . There is no such thing as Islamic in Afghanistan once occupied with forighn forces including your consulates . Infact the Afghans and their soil is being used to persue a well planed ajenda .

Afghanistan was a peacful Islamic country before the US invation. There was a sharia law but now its a disaster with the druglord controlling the reins of the country. Even US cant medel with those druglords which it placed 7 years back.

Natural resources that comes from Muslim land. Oil (Middle East), gas (Central Asia), geographic importance (Ports of Pakistan), only Muslim nation that's a nuclear power (Pakistan), water (Kashmir).

Muslim areas are blessed with so much and there's some people who want to snatch it away from us.

Stop being so childish and naive. Why is the sky blue? If you only knew history you would never dare ask such a question. There is a historical angle to it as well as the resources in those countries. Why else would any country be willing to occupy, kill indiscriminately and spend trillions of dollars on lost wars? It's all about preserving malign interests and hegemony across the globe. It just happens to be that those countries that are being threatened or have already been turned to rubble are either strategic in nature or a goldmine.
