Why posting renderings?
Projects which are not done?

What? This is site/marketing office of Centaurus building and it actually exists.
CENTAURUS SITE OFFICE - ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN

Designed by: Aktins & Patners
Status: Completed
Construction Date: Apr 2006
Completion Date: Sep 2006
Client: Pak Gulf Company
Contractors: N/A
Building Type: Site Office
Building Usage: Site Office / Marketing Office
Height: +30'-0"
Location: F/8-4, Nazimmudin Road - Jinnah Avenue, Blue Area, Islamabad, Pakistan.
It is entirely a hi-tech building with corrugated sheet used on it roof, glass curtain wall facade meeting the roof at extreme angles and structure held up by welded steel girders and pipes. The building is first of its own kind in Pakistan and a new concept of making a site and marketing office for such a big large scale mix use project. The site office has three entrances, two in the front from the left and right side respectively and one at the back. New lighting techniques have been used which defines the character of the building at night time. It is centrally heated and air-conditioned.

@WAQAS

nice pictures dude. I have a question hope u can clear it, are the roads in pak always so wide i mean are most of the cities pre planned?? are u understanding what i mean since here in India some parts the city has certain areas at first like 10 to 15 yrs back and then when new areas are added the problem of no planning crops up and the roads look smaller due to burgeoning traffic (I live in hyderabad and this is a problem here). What about there??

P.S. that pic of Centarus or some other name, the one with traingle jutting out of the ground is cool man, is it actually an office i mean people work in that??

You said it yourself
:hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

That's exactly what i am telling you. Pics of site office are real and centaurus building doesn't exist. It's under construction and the last two pics were renderings. I even told that in my post. You first called site office a rendering which it is not. That was my objection.

.
Have you heard Pakistan being famous for its world class roads?
No offense again,Neither India is famous for it

Only Islamabad is a planned city!!!!!!!
In other cities roads are wide because when cities like Lahore and Karachi were expanded lot of space was available for such wide roads since their was no population their.... And now old cities of Lahore and Karachi constitute only small protion of whole Lahore and Karachi.

Also many small cities like Murree are having really good roads(not wide though) because they are intended to be tourism centers.

Roads of Chandigarh and New Delhi can't be compared to other in South Asia, they are almost impeccable
Chandigarh has always been and New delhi due to CWG.
No offense,its my view.:cheers:
