I am not 100% sure about this.But as far as i know the people of FATA or mostly the karlani pashtun use "Sh" while those living in peshawar or in the urban areas mostly use "Kh".

But since Peshawari pashto is the standard pashto in Pakistan.so "kh" is more used.

I use "sh"

We call peshawar as peshawar while the people living in peshawar call peshawar as pekhawar or in mostly songs they Say Pekhawar
