Don't give me a BS reply, None of you Indians dare to address the

Worst Human Rights Abuse to your own "Children" Pathetic Indians.

:smitten::pakistan::china:

God only knows how many child abuses are happening and how many are suppressed in China because of tight chinese media control.

hmmm. no one said india should follow china's model all that he really said was, china's growing faster but we're growing differently? well good for india, how does this change anything again? facts are facts and the numbers are there.

no one ask india to follow china's road,we like our way, enjoy yours.let's respect other's choice, and time will tell us which way is better, india is the most democratic country in the world, cos indian confuse two things "freedom and chaos",the primitive society was a much freedom world ,why don't we just go back

@applesauce..Those remarks came after some one ask MMS about how we cannot copy Chinese growth?..he said India cannot copy because of the respect for the rule of law, respect for multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, multi-religious rights..he said nothing wrong or anything to insult your country..He just pointed out that we cannot follow the Chinese growth path blindly because of the differences in background ..

I don't understand the values that permit the widespread hunger and poverty that results in millions of malnourished children dying each year in India.

There is widespread hunger and malnutrition in all parts of India. India ranks 66th on the 2008 Global Hunger Index of 88 countries while Pakistan is slightly better at 61 and Bangladesh slightly worse at 70. The first India State Hunger Index (Ishi) report in 2008 found that Madhya Pradesh had the most severe level of hunger in India, comparable to Chad and Ethiopia. Four states — Punjab, Kerala, Haryana and Assam — fell in the 'serious' category. "Affluent" Gujarat, 13th on the Indian list is below Haiti, ranked 69. The authors said India's poor performance was primarily due to its relatively high levels of child malnutrition and under-nourishment resulting from calorie deficient diets.

India might be an emerging economic power, but it is way behind Pakistan, Bangladesh and even Afghanistan in providing basic sanitation facilities, a key reason behind the death of 2.1 million children under five in the country.

Lizette Burgers, chief of water and environment sanitation of the Unicef, recently said India is making progress in providing sanitation but it lags behind most of the other countries in South Asia. A former Indian minister Mr Raghuvansh Prasad Singh told the BBC that more than 65% of India's rural population defecated in the open, along roadsides, railway tracks and fields, generating huge amounts of excrement every day.

Kerala and Punjab fell in the 'serious' category?? are you kidding me??Go and read about both these states and then talk ..If you wanna flame or troll just do your home work and come back

Seems to me the PM would rather not discuss China in this setting.

He probably silently cussed the interviewer for asking those questions. (madarchod !)

As a prominent economist, Manmohan Singh (MMS) knows very well what he had stated is far from reality. Indian babus, background power brokers in india, using MMS as bully puppet and making him increasingly an effective laughing stock.

Indian PM Statement of “india has growth with values” flies directly in the face of 1400 indian farmer’s families who committed suicide because of extreme economic hardship. But india did find money to buy and brag about billions of dollars worth of armaments. It is quite understanding that MMS made such statement for selected audience of babus and hindu supremacy subscribers. Ego of these babus and supremacy subscribers has severely bruised by Obama recognition of Chinese place and power in the region and in the world. While MMS seek to provide ego boost for these selected audience, 600 million Indians hardly find their place in the “Indian value” that can only provide them title of poor.

Today is Eid al-Adha, set aside all the prejudices and hatred. . . .

indian becoming this .......india is that......india capable of..........stop comparing with other nations and do what ever india wana do .......and do n t tell us.
in this forum its all about indians crying about something before achieving it

Anyway ,If a nation can not face their own inadequacies it is impossible to raise up in the word.
There is no similar pattern may be suitable for the whole world .Suitable or unsuitable, and only the results of practice can prove everything.
Different from our values. Personally believe that only a country's people's happiness, and not being mistreated, and the economy is well developed, and that is democracy.Instead of endless debating just for can or can not build highways at samewhere as india does.

alse ,give best wishes all musilins .Happy Eid al-Adha!! Blessed Eid!!
