Saudi Arabia is one of few countries that worked on Muslim unity more than anyone else
1) forming a common market between 6 muslim gulf countries
2) creating a joint military force between them now number at 50 thousand and will be further increased.
3) Adding two new countries to the Gulf alliance Jordan and Morroco with Egypt join soon
4) Creating a special strategic relationship with Turkey

Now in terms of Middle East Saudi Arabia has worked with all important Muslim Countries there , but on the otherhand Iran is not regarded as a muslim country , neither a persian could be muslim or a muslim could be persian .

GCC supports Muslim countries more than anyone else , Qatar and Saudi Arabia have rebuild Lebanon tons of times , first after their civil war and today recently after 2006 war . During sanctions on Pakistan on its nuclear program Saudi Arabia supplied Pakistan with free oil and gas for over 4 years , if we " close on muslims " then Saudi Arabia would not have more than 2 million Pakistanis and another 3 million foreign muslims working on its soil .

The GCC is not really about pan arabism or islamism , we basically aim to have in the long run Egypt , Jordan and Morroco into this organisation and form close alliance with friendly countries , for instance Turkey is the only country that has a strategic special status with the GCC .

Jordan and Morroco have been accepted into the GCC recently and will become full members , Egypt is on the way of joining when things settle up there soon. There are plans to increase the PAF force size from 40 thousand to 100 thousand by the end of this year and when new members Join it will be further increased .

Building Such an alliance will take its time and we are not rushing it , I would rather have something small and effective rather than big and a failure.
