Was the information provided sufficient to explain how a particular location became the source of the incoming fire? How would commanders in the field know that that a particular location had not been taken over by hostiles?

Your Logic don't hold. Your country knowingly invade our airspace targeted our post once conveyed its our post its SOP to disengage rather then that they come back to Martyr remaining soldier.

And why not you quote your shameless western media that when NATO Heli invade our Airspace and Targeted our post soldier there fired back. As they should remain idle.

1> the effective range of 12.7mm????
2> distace b/w NATO Force and the Post?????
3> If supposedly NATO was unaware that they don't have long range weapon then why Heli maintained safe distance while engaging?????

If its justified according to your logic then you would not have mind if Pakistan Air Force has engage those Heli because they not only violated our space but also martyr our soldiers????

why US come to the rescue of TTP(at the request of Kabul Govt.) when our forces were engaging them using artillery strike in Afghanistan because of their continuous attacks.

Sir can you share the approximate distance b/w Pakistan Post and alleged site where NATO was doing operation.

sorry its been a while and I have lost the full documentation detailing the full trail of events exact location of both posts their men and equipment and the distance of the post to the border and distance of the Afghan village to the border etc. I will have to look for it or seek help.
