With all that recent warmth with Israel we were expecting a different stance on this issue

India also has relations with iran and saudi but never went against either or for any of them. Other than russia I have not seen India giving explicit support for any other country.

I will say Abstanation is a vote in favor of the resolution so the tally is 128+35=163. The nations that abstained was due to the threat or some other reason without doubt.
