PhD's ko itna bhi degrade mat karo yaar....no matter to which country they belong...they still hold a doctorate which in itself is an achievement if you know about the mechanics of obtaining a PhD....Doctorate kar k peon lagna us doctorate ki bisti hai

17 lakh PHD holder???

I doubt even USA has so many "Doctorates"..

We're struggling to produce 17000 a year,as most guys get job after their masters.

meanwhile..the actual article is..

Revealing shocking numbers, as many as 17, 47, 824 people have applied for the 368 peon posts available in the UP Secretariat, clearly showcasing the shocking rate of unemployment in UP.

What is even more shocking is the fact among the people who have applied, 201 have completed their Doctorate degree and around 20,000 have Master's degree in various disciplines. As many as 8 lakh people have completed their high school qualification, as well.

Nothing wrong in this as people apply for every oportunity.
