You do realize that Israel is to them as Pakistan is to us? A theological state carved out. It is but obvious that Arabs will have significant issues - Imagine Delhi being given as a gift to Jews as a part of repartitions given to Jews without us Indians having any say in it.

As for Israel-Iran relations - Do you till the time of Shah Iran and Israel will as thick as thieves? Iran supported formation of Israel, gave it lot of support during six days war? Israel's closesnees with the Shah cost it highly after the revolution in Iran.

I don't think so. The extreme Israel-hatred of the mullahs was not a fixture in Iran before 1979. Furthermore, Khomeini himself acknowledged the difference between Jews in Israel and Jews living within mullah-ruled Iran, and that Iranian Jews could continue to live in Iran - with tightly zipped lips, as the ones I've met never speak of their lives there.
