PM's effort to court every nation support on visit is increasing the support base the UN general assembly, which will have an effect of UNSC expansion.

If France cannot claim the de facto leadership role over the EU from Germany, then I think France should give its power to Germany.

UK also needs to be an independent player, minor rival over US at least, otherwise, it doesn't deserve its position anymore.

India should ask UK to give the title away.

Actually all P5 player are supposed to be independent, hence you only need 1 veto to vote a motion out, not 2 or 3.

Why you need to play in a group when all you ever only need is 1 vote?? That's kind of hard to understand.

All these reasons and boasting are not valid nor they will become a criteria, Chinese should not waste their energy on this. Chinese CCP is the boss in China not in UN nor China along with a handful of countries opinion is taken as strict criteria.

All these anti India actions of China will only harm China's diplomacy when it comes to its diplomacy and maneuvering against west .

Well the OP is misguided. There is only One criteria for UNSC membership
All P5 must agree+most UN members.
That's it.
