No one expected help. The world now knows Kashmir issue is live again. There will be conflicts, smaller or larger like the one going on right now. And in these, things will get heated up, close to the nuke thresholds. That is when the entire globe will put their boots up some rears to let the Kashmir issue be solved.

No one from the US wants their trillions of dollars invested in India to do to permanent waste. No one also wants to see over 200-300 million people dead, so this was a warning. Not a cry for help. If the Pakistanis needed help, going directly to the US would've been a much better option. The UN's in Donald Trump's words is "pure stupid, we need to get out of it and do what we need done". So I hope this clarifies this for you the trust that everyone has in UN. UN to me, seeing the history is a riot control organization for places like Somalia, etc.

It is a good platform to talk about events that can destroy half the world......raising this issue about Kashmir and saying "there will be no peace between India and Pakistan, until the Kashmir issue is solved". Which part of this statement seems like a cry for help? This is a warning from one nuke power to another. Help is available from many quarters, including UN and USA, but both Pakistan and India have to agree to it, exactly as stipulated in the Simla Agreement, as long as it remains in force.

the camp that went with the ambition of isolating Pakistan l, making Uri attacks a base for it are celebrating how UN adked them and Pak to resolve the Kashmir dispiute among themselves. No integral part, no internal matter but a dispute.

Only thing that is been misinterpreted is that the disputed area is the land occupied by Pakistan illegally and not related to Indian Kashmir, by any strech of imagination.

Fact is not a single country spokesperson has mentioned Kashmir word during their speech..
Other few who had given is more like "I don't care" statement..
Fun aside it's a ground reality..

That is not a funny aspect, the real humor and the funny part is the Nawaz representing Pakistan in U.N session remark of the Burhan Wani as the peaceful protestor. The one who didn't knew who this burhan guy is if sees the picture posted by him on his FB account with AK-47 would laugh on this remark.
