UN chief calls for restraint on Kashmir

It's been a tipping point in Kashmir much worse before. Your army before even invested on that when entering in it expecting a full scale rebellion, nothing like the sort happened. I expect a response from Pakistan, but it's nothing India isnt used to by now. You can invite all the radicals in your country as transit all you want, just like the drug trade, it's you guys that will be affected the worse from it. You guys already know this first hand. The international community care more about HK than Kashmir, for strategic reasons. They havent cared since, wont care any time soon.

We are not going to use proxies. We are going to arm Kashmiri Freedom Fighters.

Let's see what India does when Indian soldiers are being killed in big numbers by Freedom Fighters. Cross ceasefire line again to get a hammering by Pak military?

Ultimately we are heading to Fascist Hindus starting a genocide in Kashmir because attacking Pakistan by conventional means will be a no go so the frustration will lead to genocide. And going by the Fascists in your media, they are already prepared to start the genocide.

Still the fastest growing major economy.:enjoy: Projected that way till his end term.:enjoy:

Oh, thanks for reminding me.
#6: Falsifying growth rates and job numbers without putting in the effort to get the economy going.

It even says it's the fastest major economy in the second link. :enjoy:

And, you trust those numbers. Wasn't the point that Indians numbers don't hold up and no one questions the elite media's half baked stories. If you were really growing at 7%, why would you fall behind UK and France when both of them are not even growing at 2 percent? See the third story about you lying to yourselves (probably from Modi's pressure).

Indian Media keeps you in dark while your elites take all of the money and stash it in Europe and Dubai.

So basically UN did not even bother to be "concerned"about changes done by India. Only concern is curfew and internet blackout. India would not be happier.

BTW Malaysia's stance is also something, Pakistan will be disappointed about. Especially IK, as he considers Mahathir his "guru".

United Nations chief Antonio Guterres on Thursday urged India and Pakistan to exercise "maximum restraint" and refrain from taking steps that could affect the status of Jammu and Kashmir, as he highlighted the Shimla Agreement which rejects any third-party mediation on the issue.

The Secretary-General's remarks came after India on Monday revoked Article 370 to withdraw the special status to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated the state into two Union Territories -- Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Pakistan termed the Indian action as "unilateral and illegal", and said it will take the matter to the UN Security Council.

"The Secretary-General has been following the situation in Jammu and Kashmir with concern and makes an appeal for maximum restraint," Guterres' spokesman Stephane Dujarric said in New York.

Dujarric specifically said that the Secretary-General "also recalls the 1972 Agreement on bilateral relations between India and Pakistan, also known as the Shimla Agreement, which states that the final status of Jammu and Kashmir is to be settled by peaceful means" in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations.

The Secretary General did not offer his good offices nor did he make any offer to mediate between India and Pakistan on Kashmir.

Instead, he referred to the Shimla Agreement, which is a bilateral agreement between India and Pakistan and rejects any third-party mediation in the issue.

Guterres also called "on all parties to refrain from taking steps" that could affect the status of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said the position of the United Nations on the region was governed by the Charter of the United Nations and is applicable to Security Council resolutions. -- PTI
