Ukraine to supply Turkey with over 500 cruise missile engines worth over $600 mln

Nightmare for revealing the truth. Some people refused to know the truth. Reality is hard to accept at times.
what truth , the news are already shared in turkish section before.

Turkish gas turbine engines on the most critical projects started giving fruits. Ts-1500 turboshaft engine will be integrated on domestic 6 ton helicopter called Gökbey this year. Same engine will power up T-629 attack helicopter - the ITAR free 6 ton variant of T-129 Atak helicopters. When this engine converted into turbofan, It can provide a thrust around 7000-8000lbf.

Same institute charged to develop a new turboshaft engine called TS-3000 (3000shp) which is going to be integrated Atak-II heavy class attack helicopters and 10-13t utiliry helicopters.

Kale group has successfully completed development of KTJ-3200 turbojet engine. This engine will be the main power source of Atmaca SSM and SOM missiles.

Kale is developing more powerful KTJ engine to power up Gezgin land attack cruise missiles and SOM-ER ALCM. Gezgin missile will have a range more than 1000km while SOM-ER 800km.

In this aspect, Turkish industry can not develop tens of engine programs simultaneously. We have a capacity in this field but the ongoing aerial programs can not wait loaded schedule of TEI engine programs. It causes a stop-gap for continuation of defense programs. In this aspect;

Following engines are selected from Ukraine!

  • Al-450 turboprop engines: Akinci drones
  • MS-500V-S turboprop engines: Heavily armed (1,5t payload) Akinci variant
  • Al-25T turbofan engines: Unmanned fighter jet programs (1t payload, 900km/h speed)

Turkey (51) and Ukraine(49) established an institute called BlackSea shield and This institute is receving technology of following engines. At the end of the day, This institute will provide some of those engines for Turkish strategic unmanned platforms.

You can see the importance of programs when you check the comments of chinese and egyptian trolls.
Do let me know when you so called turboshaft start equipped your heavy attack helo of Turkey armed forces for service. Dont let me wait too long. :enjoy:

Thes are purchase for projects what we don't have engine for.

Probly for Baykar stealth drone.

Tusas have designed a stealth drone and is going to fly in 2020:-). But tot give you trolls a idea something like this.

Good news for us and bad news for Egypt...:-)

Alhamdulilah very nice developments Turkey and Pakistan need to setup a joint production and Research Development Center I dont know why both off our governments cant achieve such a small step towards becoming self sufficient

Bro, TEI has developed a gasoline engine PG-50 (50hp) to power up Turkish kamikaze and anti-radiation long range drone called Kargu. According to latest information, Kargu will have a range more than 2000km. In swarm attack conguration, they will be a good SAM hunters in any field of conflict.

Ukraine is master in engine technology if you can get tech it can reduce you lot of trouble.

They have been engine providers to several countries. They are best in business

Cheap but low quality and low tech. What ship or plane or helicopter or sub has Ukraine ever built since becoming independent from Russia in 1991? Oh right. Nil. Zippo. Zach.

We are going to buy turbprop and turbojet engine what we didn't designed. So the projects can not wait untill we have designed a engine. Ther is nothing to be shamed specially a country like Egypt is comparing and mocking with us:-). Now i rubbed in lets see what kind engine we are going to buy. Akinci will use a turboprop what we al ready know.

Too big for a cruise missile and to heavy, so for what are we going to use?

TUSUS ceo Kotil revealed that they designed a stealth UCAV, and that thing needs a engine:-). I hope that they come something like X-45. And Baykar is making to, so wait until TAI stealth UCAV is flying:-).

2021 - 2030 is a long time ..... Turkey is having real problems in developing it’s own Engines ... be it for ALTAY or for Cruise Missiles.
The western never allowed Turks to really develop critical part of their weaponary .. .

Compare Turkey industry with Iran .... Turks produce better weapon but Iran industry has more depth than theirs .... This mean if USA pose sanction on them , they would have to put massive amount of time and money to develop basic and critical parts by themselves

Akinci uses 2 turboprops so if new one uses 2 turbojet (May be one ) MEANS MORE THAN 250 DRONES.

No one transfer tech to other countries ...
In reality , when you start to develop engine on your own , you start to realize even for tiniest part , you need a lot of industry background and no one help you about this and you have pay so much for just a little part which have build with special alloy and formed with speciall method ....

Ask China and India about this
