No need to insult another nationality bro, many pro-China posters are overly paranoid about 'Bengali concern trolling' in the fallout of Rohingya crisis, but I think @UKBengali raises a valid concern as a UK resident (or citizen) with a finger on the pulse of how the UK general population feels.

I don't think this news represents a guarantee for Huawei's inclusion. UK operates a parliamentary system, Boris Johnson could be deposed in a party rebellion/coup, especially by neocon MPs who take instructions from the US. But it would be humiliating for the UK to renege after making this bold statement, and it would show dysfunctional split leadership. We don't need UK or Europe to be pro-China, we just need a sizeable pro-China element active to hobble and neutralize US neocon influence and turn Europe into a contested battleground.

Not bragging. I made a comparison between Huawei and Viettel growth in revenue. VT revenue was 11 billion USD in 2017. Keep your lollipop.

Viettel is an operator, not an OEM or engineering company. It doesn't compete with Huawei at all.

Of course it is related as there was talk of 5G contract being cancelled in UK due to corona and China's role in it.

You need to find out what goes here in UK and frankly what is happening in the world right now.

My advice to China is to be as open as possible about corona as people in countries like the UK are already blaming China over this outbreak and so transparency will help clear China's name(if indeed China is not to blame at all) and allow it to continue fully engaged with rest of the world.

Chinese must realise just how serious this issue has now become.

1. UK wants to give China the benefit of the doubt over corona.

VT is more than that, OEM, vendor, developer as well. It makes software, telecom equipment, 4g/5g, Radar. And many military equipment for the army. Vietnam first 5g infra will be deployed by VT.
The US bans Huawei. that is the opportunity for VT to fill the gap.
Win win.
