Look, I can post some soldiers from Kashmir too.
but the ones that will make up the bulk of the infantry that attacks or defends are like this.

On a more serious note. This exericize was part of a bigger 1 month training exercise by the name of Pashtun Dawn. Military exercise for 4000 British Soldiers, leaving for Afghanistan this month.
Exercise Pashtun Dawn was 20 Armoured Brigade's FTXs (Final Training Exercises) on Salisbury Plain which ran from 24th July until 21st August 2011. Pashtun Dawn was supported by an exercise running simultaneously called Pashtun Jaguar which was run by JHC (Joint Helicopter Command). Rick Ingham Photography followed the exercise from start to finish...
Pashtun Dawn was made up of three FTX's (Final Training Exercises) FTX1/Green, FTX2/Blue and FTX3/Yellow. Below is the list of the 'Training Audience' which participated in each FTX:
The main objective of the MRX (Mission Rehearsal Exercise) is to prepare 20 Armoured Brigade for their imminent deployment to Afghanistan which is named Operation Herrick 15. Around 4000 troops overall will participate during the three stages which turns Salisbury Plain (SPTA) into a replica of Afghanistan with Forward Operating Bases (FOB's) such as Bastion, Lashkar Gar, Pegish, Eshan, Karej, Kezget, Noshaq, Qazi Deh, Shakhawr and Shazad. This provides a stage to practice tactics etc so that when they deploy, their training will kick in and be familiar to them.

Yes, its the basic gear and it sucks. But they are trying to replace it with the F-INSAS program.
Dude, like 99% are armed with AKs, which is not the weapon that will used to fight India with in a war. Unless SFs.
They are the equivalent of the AK/Tavor wielding forces in Kashmir.

The bulk of the infantry that will rush India will be armed with G-3s not AKs.
Just like Indians with INSAS, not AKs or Tavors.

Yes they do... POF is manufacturing SMGs which r being provided to the troops...
POF manufactured SMG:
Balistic helmet and these vest r the standard gear of PA... Though balistic helmet was given to the troops fighting in KP,Baluchistan and manning security posts,GSF(Garison security force),RAF(Rapid Action Forces) all over the ccountry coz of priorities..........But these r being provided to all soldiers..........while FC-1,FC-2 are already equiped with them,...
While body armour is provided to every soldier and comes as a standard issue...along with gas masks etc.
U deserve a FACE PALM.
