Celebrated 14 August in Islamabad. Saw some Afghans flying their national flag tied to their motorbikes. No Pakistani citizen or law enforcement agency made an issue or harassed them, rather let them be and continue with their journey.The reality is that with indians, the whole creation of Pakistan thing has seriously messed up their psyche and dna. Pakistan and Pakistanis are a constant reminder to indians of the permanent destruction of a "united india" and the foreign invasions/occupations of india that lasted over 1000 years. This causes them immense pain and anguish. It also explains the excessive indian trolling on PDF and other Pakistani forums. So at some level, I can understand the behaviour and attitude of indians.
With afghans, I have NO idea about what is wrong with them. Notice how afghans and their fan-boys have given a free pass to the russians/soviets and americans/nato to have raped and massacred millions of afghans and having destroyed afghanistan for over 43 years. They NEVER condemn the russians/soviets and americans/nato for carrying out these atrocities against the afghan people. The reason is that like indians, afghans worship the white european races. When Pakistan defends itself against afghan terrorism, they rage with extreme hatred and venom even though Pakistan looked after, cared and payed for afghans for over 43 years. Go figure that one out?.........
Also, remember that afghans are the MOST failed, backward and regressive people on earth and they know it. Their superiority complex is a way of coping with that.

Seems as though there was strong sense of patriotism in the 1990s however it doesnt seem to be there as much now. Sure flags were out along the main Islamabad highway however I witnessed folks just getting along with the struggles of daily life.
