UK and India agree £900m deal as Sunak lays foundations for trade deal
RISHI SUNAK has signed off on a new £900million package of public and private finance with India as he laid the foundations for a free trade deal with New Delhi.

The Chancellor held talks with his counterpart on how to tackle climate change and boost investment at the 11th Economic and Financial Dialogue (EFD) between the UK and India.
The commitment comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the UK-India 2030 Roadmap earlier this year, looking to double trade between the UK and India and increase cooperation in areas that matter to both countries.
"Supporting India’s green growth is a shared priority so I’m pleased that we’ve announced a $1.2billion (£870million) investment package, and launched the new Climate Finance Leadership Initiative India partnership, to boost investment in sustainable projects in India as the UK gears up to host COP26.
This is what Pakistan needs to try and setup between itself and countries of the west, including the UK and USA, and Pakistan needs to learn to play the game properly aswell. Institutional frameworks - they need to put aside the jollies/trips they like to indulge in and make each meeting meaningful otherwise dont bother in "photo-ops".
