UEFA admits Kosovo as 55th member, entry to 2018 World Cup next

"Kosovo has been given UEFA membership, and could now be fast-tracked into FIFA and the 2018 World Cup qualifying program.

UEFA's member federations voted 28-24 on Tuesday to accept the former province of Serbia, which led the opposition. Two votes were declared invalid.

Kosovo has sought international recognition through sports since declaring independence from Serbia in 2008.

UEFA supported Kosovo's case after resisting previous efforts by FIFA in 2012 to let its national and clubs teams play opponents from other countries.

Kosovo needs to be accepted as a FIFA member before it can enter a World Cup qualifying group.

FIFA's ruling council meets in Mexico City on Monday, and can send Kosovo's application for a decision by the FIFA congress four days later." Daily Sabah

Everybody knows that the Serb Entity in BiH was built on genocide. Heck even their first president was sentenced for committing Genocide lol

prior to the war there was never a republika srpska in Bosnia. I guess going by your logic the Gypsy population in Romania deserves the right to put up roadblocks in area's where they are majority and declare independnce.

Kosovo is a whole different issue as it was an autonomous region granted status by the collective Yugoslav government in 1974.

What different issue ? The Serbs are a different ethnicity in BH and if they want to stop being part of that state they should be supported.Unlike the kosovars they probably won't support their independence by organ trafficking on the black market either.What's the point in keeping them within a state they don't want to be part of ?

If Republica Srpska gets independence we could make up the numbers lost in BH by deporting all our gypsies in the Sarajevo areea and you'll all live happy ever after.Sounds good ? For a few coins I'm sure that they'll convert to,the gypsies are like that...just like your ancestors did for an easy life.Tough people like the Serbs weathered out the storm and kept their faith.

Serbia was a country that liberally engages in murder and rape and also aides and abets those that do.

Anyway, it was Blair that persuaded a reluctant Clinton to intervene in Kosovo. Blair may be a low-life but Kosovo was one thing he did right.

People of Kosovo are historically a European nation and they are geographically located in Europe then it is a political, strategic issue for another European nation that UEFA an administrative body for association football in Europe, officially admits Kosovo as 55th member.
