who was it's target??? Boko Haram?

poor controls? looks more like a failed landing than a full on crash. The frame is pretty much intact.

To admit besides that UAV itself I'm most surprised about the missile. So far I thought it only to be a mock-up for Air Show models and not a real one.

Any info on its designation ??

Why is it suspected to be? It looks like 1? Think better we wait for more info about this than making guesses which might or might not turn out to be true.
Anyway this ch-3 drone, is it operational ?

Export only. The only UCAV China has, are CH-4 and Wing Loong.

Well its probably true. After all the U.S and Britain had reservations sellinng weapons to Nigeria for human rights reasons. So not surprised at all why Nigeria turned to China and Russia.

Saudi Arabia OTOH has examplary human rights. :cheesy:

LOL.

Add Bahrain and rest of the Gulf to the list. I hope China sells more to whoever is willing to pay hard cash.

Gulf states among world's largest arms importers
In 2013, according to SIPRI, Saudi Arabia also bought armoured vehicles from Canada worth $10 billion. Further orders may soon be placed for armoured personal carriers from Serbia and tanks from Germany.

Between 2009 and 2013, Saudi Arabia and the UAE each received thousands of guided bombs from the USA. Saudi Arabia also received hundreds of air-launched Storm Shadow cruise missiles (with a range of approximately 300 kilometres) from the UK. Mounted on combat aircraft, and combined with refuelling airplanes acquired from Spain, the range of these cruise missiles could cover most of Iran.

In 2013 the USA was, for the first time, willing to negotiate the sale of hundreds of AGM-84H missiles to Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Bahrain and the UAE also received surface-to-surface missiles from the US.
