You have taken Gawadar all in one direction and That is of Dubai and Singapore but you forget that the situation of Gawadar is different that that of Singapore and Dubai. they are small countries with very less production of domestic goods and countries like such mostly go for tech goods or tourism but Pakistan will use Gawadar as hub for distribution. Gawadar is less threat for Dubai than it is for the countries in SCS as Russians and Chinese will both use this route and middle east requires this route.

I have a feeling that in 20 years, Gawadar will be different than any other city in Pakistan, it will be more developed and more advanced than any of the cities in or around Asia/Middle East/Far East. Slowly and gradually, it will become a tourist destination as well as people who come for trade need to let off steam. This city will grow to the envy of many other cities and countries in the region.

UAE had threatened Pakistan of severe consequences when Pakistan refused to play military role in Yemen, since then UAE is openly tilting towards India and creating problems for Pakistanis in UAE, also they bring Indians (without permission) to airfield in Pakistan knowing it's a big issue for Pakistan. its quite regrettable for the sad killings of UAE diplomats, upon this incident, why are they re-thinking ties with Pakistan ??? they must re-think ties with afghanistan because incident took place in afghanistan not in pakistan.

Tourism or no tourism people will be visiting Gawadar and there will be better economic up lift for the area but the area that will get a major boost is baldistan

Investment is coming from many countries like US, UK, Qatar, KSA etc. due to opportunities created by CPEC so nothing special if UAE is investing.

Well there r many investments from UAE in Pakistan Al falah bank is one of them and many more are there UAE never bared Pakistanis from entrying UAE . It is a good country with many good people and few bad apples just like ours
