Good idea to replace the Mirage III/IVs and ROSE with these.

If it is the case then let's hear the French/Dassault word as well that we cannot pursue such large buy of another Mirage Type without after sale support/service. By looking at track record, India must have a condition for France in Rafale Contract, mentioned to stop such further sales to Pakistan or who knows.
@Windjammer what's your read about this....
What is the offer from Russia?Indian Can Not stop Dassault.
But its just that the present " Single Engine Fighter " competition is not so straight as it seems.
There are offers from both Russia and France too.
From France I presume its refurbished 2nd hand Mirages.
No more investments in Mirage fis.
JF-17's and possibly F-16's only at this point.
What is the offer from Russia?
Thanks for sharing man...I am excited...!!
UAE, Pakistan and Mirage 2000-9s
There is talk that lately-appointed Chief of General Staff of the Pakistani Army General Qamar Javed Bajwa intends to reactivate contacts with the UAE to buy the Emirati Mirage 2000-9 fighter jets in favor of Pakistan Air Force (PAF). The following 348-word report sheds more light on the subject and tells what about the Emirati reaction.

I didn't know that.UAC is offering to restart single engine fighter program from either Su or Mig.
Su would be likely offering something like Single Engine Mini Su35.
Russia would have advantage of cost and easy transfer of production over others.
The offer from Mig is not known.

I think India is looking at existing A/Cs not that whole new plane from the ground in such category, that may take more decades than procuring available Fighters or the new single engine procurement is based upon such strategy then we can see a possibility of such new SU or Mig plane but for the moment, not feasible at all.
And we are already familiar with this air craft
