Mohamed bin Zayed, Malaysian Prime Minister attend conclusion of Nimr Al Sahra 2014 exercise
His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of U.A.E. Armed Forces, and Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mohammad Najib Tun Haji Abdul Razak, on Monday attended the conclusion of the joint military exercise Nimr Al Sahra 2014 (Desert Tiger 2014) staged at the Zayed Military City in Abu Dhabi by U.A.E. Armed Forces and Malaysian Armed Forces.
The joint military training war game ebdies the interest the leaders of U.A.E. and Malaysia have in expanding the avenues of bilateral cooperation in implementation of their common vision for exchanging of expertise and experience, bolstering security and stability, backing international efforts for establishing regional and international peace.
After the national anthems of U.A.E. and Malaysia were sung, H.H. the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Malaysian prime minister toured the training field in a open-top vehicle to insepect the formations of tanks, artillery, armored personnel carriers and the lines of the soldiers stationed in place.
Seven U.A.E. Air Force aircraft symbolising the seven emirates of the U.A.E. federation staged a highly professional aerobatic show forming the national flag of U.A.E.
Also present at the closing ceremony of the exercise were H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Mrs. Rosmah Mansor, wife of the Malaysian prime minister, Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Transport Department and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism ''&'' Culture Authority, Dr. Hadef bin Jowan Al Dhahiri, Minister of Justice, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Bawardi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense of U.A.E., Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouie, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, Saeed Eid Al Ghafli, Chairman of the Department of Municipal Affairs, Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of U.A.E. Armed Forces, and high ranking military commanders from both countries.
