Yep it’s pretty much fact now, some were denying this. Turkey’s news network reporting it as well.

In comments reported by the Emirati newspaper Gulf News, on Tuesday - the UAE’s Indian Ambassador Ahmad Al Banna, said the issue was an “internal matter” but that the revocation of the treaty would lead to peace.

“We expect that the changes would improve social justice and security and confidence of the people in the local governance and will encourage further stability and peace,” Banna said, according to Gulf News.

Utter filth, I’d say worse but not worth it.

Never been on holiday there, will never spend a penny there either. I hope the Pakistanis with money used to rant on about Dubai see sense as well.

you have 1.2 million pakistanis earning their livelihood in UAE. until you figure out how to fix your economy no one is taking you seriously

on a serious note if the bedouin arabs can make Dubai a world class hub what stops Pakistanis ? your energies have to be directed on problems like that
@waz

on a practical matter emirates is the most desirable airline to fly from many countries in the world to pakistan

Ambassador expressed hope that it would help improve the social and economic conditions

New Delhi: The UAE has taken note of the Indian government’s decision of non-operationalisation of some sections of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution related to the state of Jammu and Kashmir, said Dr Ahmad Al Banna, the UAE ambassador to India.

Dr Al Banna added: “We also took note of the introduction of Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill in the Indian Parliament aimed at replacing Article 370 with the creation of Ladakh region and the state of Jammu and Kashmir as India’s two new Union Territories.”

He commented that from his understanding the reorganisation of states is not a unique incident in the history of independent India and that it was mainly aimed at reducing regional disparity and improving efficiency. He viewed this latest decision related to the state of Jammu and Kashmir as an internal matter as stipulated by the Indian Constitution.

The honourable ambassador of UAE thinks the move by Modi will help to improve the conditions of the Kashmiri people. Is Pakistan making a mistake making ruckus about this? Thoughts people?

I believe you are being sarcastic here to good effect. Well done. I agree with your undercurrent of dismay at the UAE ambassador's statement.

You are little late to the party. People like you had thrown quite a few insults on the concept of Muslim brotherhood. Now you can release your anxiety on a thing which you hate most.

On Topic: I think ambassador is impressed by your ideology.

Can anyone show an official statement by UAE embassy in India??????
I would prefer somebody gave me the ambassador's personal phone number so I could confirm the veracity of this report. I agree with you though, I don't trust Arab Gulf news. They probably made this up.

Indeed. Because I don't see any. If you notice SMQ has chosen to visit the athiests in Beijing first. thus far the strongest comment has come from athiest republic in Beijing followed by the secular republic in Ankara. Rest are all mute or indirectly even being apologetic to Modi's India.

Someone probably spiked the ambassadors drink with 'Indian cola' his statement clearly shows the side effect.

Pakistan and UAE relations are deeper than the dead sea, no one can break our strong bond!

Indeed, Ideologies are not judged by action of people.

Gulf News is UAE's newspaper.. it is not some random blog post and no denial or clarification has come from UAE so we must know who stands where.. Time changes..But we should remember it.

Gulf News is an Indian influenced remember the anti Pakistan propaganda they made about Pakistan not voting for UAE On Expo 2020

Gentlemen the source I have quoted is Gulf, yes Gulf News. It is based in Dubai, UAE. I am not quoting a Indian newspaper or souce. I would trust a UAE paper based in Dubai would report accurately on what it's own ambassador is saying.

Arab English news sites are mostly Indian propaganda outlets, especially in places where large numbers of Indian workers are settled.

These are likely run by and tend to English speaking foreign workers, and only the Arabic language versions should be given consideration.

Al Jazeera English is an other example, which was believed to be taken over by ex BBC World employees, after the latter shut down.
