Without the ability to project a missile that can kill Obama when hes taking a walk, the US will forever suppress our development.

They were enquiring from their consulate in INDIA, so what ? They will always look to further their geopolitical goals. They never told any Indian govt official to do this or that.

Besides, India is a multilateral party system with views from all sections. Govt cant pass laws without paying heed to all the parties in the parliament. The process takes time but works 100%.

common people have overthrown parties who tried to fool them. eg. BJP with their shining INDIA fiasco, Lalu in Bihar. Also since UPA1 performed better than NDA hence they came to power by overwhelming majority again. The endgame of UPA2 will be decided in 2014.

In 20 years, no Indian government would be able to survive if the government choose to evict a US army, navy or air force base from India. India should openly invite US to place a base in India while the terms are still favorable to India. In 20 years, India would need US base in its territory to protect India from its enemy. Just like Japan and South Korea of today.
