U.S. Reaches Deal in Principle With China, Awaits Trump Sign-Off

Read your article, executives were given 3 months leave and paid while on leave around 2000 rmb. It's normal practice during hard times that workers are paid half their salary and asked to be on leave. Ao their normal pay will be around 4k to 5k rmb. Then the article goes on to say minimum wage is 1800rmb which a factory will NEVER pay and people need to woek 22 days to get it. That's a law. That sentence highlights that the worker had her salarry deducted because she only worked 15 16 hours not telling us her pay which ai estimate to be around 3k and with overtime 4k.
Ita trade war time now, and Cnese workers cant get over time pay cos there r not much orders.

Thats why million workers like Liu Fang only get basic salary 255usd.

Last year, Janus reported a 14.25 per cent year-on-year decline, or 2.86 billion yuan (US$405 million) of net losses, attributing the huge deficit to Samsung having halted orders from the fourth quarter of 2018.

You are repeating like a parrot, i told you basic wage and minimum wage are two different things, Samsung will never pay minimum wage genius. I told you to come here and you will understand the situation, stop living in a well. Factory workers are paid 400 to 500 $. You dont't believe me, then i cant wxplain more.

Samsung to invest US$8 billion more in China chip plant to boost flash memory chip production
https://amp.scmp.com/tech/big-tech/...lion-more-china-chip-plant-boost-flash-memory

So one city has a closed down factory, another city has a new 8bil$, do you see the pattern here? Low end stuff moving to Vietnam, high end stuff moving to China. Lol

See above genius
Dont post old news,bro.

And CN is the biggest market for Samsung chips.

They just simply invest money to suck more Cnese money and then fleeing to VN again when CN go broke, they dont help CN anything

Less than a week old.... Too much to handle? Lol. Of course they sell us chips, but you fail to mention the sunk in cost, technology and skills imparted, ultimately the chips go into a product and guess where it goes to? Exported genius! Your phones assembled in Vietnam, they need mem, where do you think it comes from? Hahha

The trend is high end products are made in China to be near the industrial cluater while lower end products are now made in Vietnam due to lower wages.

. Grow up! Stop putting such non-sense on us. This kind of ridiculous comment won't come across well as you wish.

Before samsung phone factories moved to VN, then did we buy Samsung phones?? From CN, right. And the world still buy lots samsung phone now but the factories r in VN cos CN is not main market and not worth to manufactoring ss phones in CN anymore cos labor cost and US tariff make SS phone become so expensive.

Just same thing happen to ss chips. CN is main market, so ss invest more to suck more CN money. When Huawei and Foxxcon stop buying SS chips, then they will move to VN, CN got Nothing left but hundred thousand jobless workers like in old ss phone factories now:pop:

10years ago.VN and the World had to buy the whole ss phone from CN. Now, the world only buy ss chips from CN. What happen to the next 10 years. No thing but raw materials r needed to buy from CN

What's SS? Exactly, factories move because labor cost increase, pop decrease and moat important we don't buy as much Samsung phones anymore. Do you know Samsung is also testing the outsourcing model? Meaning phones will be built by Chinese OEMs. The key difference between us and you is our companies are dominating the market for cellphones now. Ask yourself this question, why is the 8 bil Nand factory in China not Vietnam?

Ss is samsung.

Cnese phones dominating the market ?? How many Hwei phone sold in US after US ban Hwei ?? And also just few Hwei phones sold in VN after the ban, too.

Okay, keep feeling happy when SS chips keep sucking money from CN, but Hwei sales in US, VN ( could br Jp,sk,TW too) r very terrible, and the area around old Cn SS factories is still like ghost town now, no Cnese factories come and rescue that place yet.

so what? 1.4 billion domestic market cannot support Huawei? Excluding US, how big is VN+JP+TW combined?

Imagine this, even without the US market Chinese brands dominate the World's market. US can keep on hiding behind protectionism to protect apple, but the fact is in the numbers. SS sucking money? Last I heard we are the largest exporters for electronics. SS sell some to us and export the rest from Chinese factories, how so you think we get surpluses, that's the beauty of trade, it always benefits if done properly.

In economics, as long as it's governed properly, it always balances out. One city affected by factory closure will evolve and move into another field, workers will readapt, Xian is booming now due to many high end factories, it now has maybe the highest concentration of mem companies including hynix. Vietnam can be the low end producer for China, ever thought if why it's moved to Vietnam not India? Because you are next to our cluster, you are becoming our economic colony genius.

The truth still is: manufactoring in CN is much higher than in VN, and SS still stay in CN just bcs they can suck lots of money from Hwei, Apple, and Hwei phones only can sell in CN after Google ban now.

Okay, SS CN still export chips to SS VN, but 10 years ago. SS CN export the whole phone ( including chips) to VN. In the next 10 year, we only need rare earth from CN

I think there is no use explaining to you. 10 years ago there is no NAND chip in China. We are moving up the induatrial chain, do you have local manufacturer like Huawei BBK or Xiaomi? No, you are dependent on foreigners. If Samsung don't manufacture, Xiaomi will fill the vacuum, the economy will restructure. If Samsung is only 'sucking' cash, we won't have a 300 bil$ surplus genius. Please use some common sense, your country is the one getting exploited by Chinese from diff areas, Sg, HK, Taiwan, Mainland. They are the same culturally, do you get it? They might had Communist China but ask them which race to defend? Its the Han race.
