U.S. Military Preparing for a Full Withdrawal of Its Forces From Syria

.
Just got news here in UK, Full US withdrawal from fighting ISIS

The US is preparing to withdraw all its troops from Syria, US media quoting defence officials report. One defence official told CNN the planning was for a "full" and "rapid" withdrawal.

Now Turks will give those PKK terrorist taste of their own medicine , their honeymoon period is about to be over, now they will pay for the blood they shed of innocent Turks .. All the best Turkey

. .
The Americans will be leaving every conflict they're are embroiled in. I am not surprised why they were so eager to sit with the Taliban in Afghanistan.

The Americans are fatigued and calling it a day. The main losers will be Israel and India. Both rely on US support. One in Afghanistan and the other in the Middle East.

What a strange day for news in the UK?

Announced plans for NO-DEAL Brexit
US Withdrawal from Syria
US Bows in Afghanistan (https://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/la-oe-bacevich-afghanistan-20181219-story.html)

And its only lunchtime.

With the sole exception of Vietnam, the ongoing Afghanistan war represents the greatest failure in U.S. military history.

Russia,Assad Regime may have agreed with the US to create autonomous region of Pkk/Ypg in N.Syria similar to Kurdistan Region of Iraq

S.Arabia,Uae,Russia forced Assad Regime to agree for autonomous region of Pkk/Ypg in N.Syria ....... then the US can withdraw of its military forces from Syria

Turkish Armed Forces should say fck off the US and Russia and to start military operration against Pkk/Ypg terrorists

It is clear that the US has chosen Turkey, I don't think there is a secret deal with Assad/Russia. Turkey will push all the way to the Euphrates. The ambition is definitely to split Syria between North and South, creating an entity in the North which Assad cannot overcome.

India doesn't need US to do what it does in Afghanistan. India can manage fine without US as long as Iran is in India's corner, which it is.

That is highly debatable, Afghanistan is a complex country and I think over the years the Afghan government and Armed Forces have become more competent, better trained and equipped. Failure will be measured in what happens in Afghanistan post US withdrawal. If it falls back to the Taliban than yes it will be a failure, however if it does not and the government continues with their fight than that is a win.

When we said this here months ago, some trolls were laughing.

The United States has no alternative other than Turkey in the area since the very beginning. The United States has lost all deep structure and the operational power on Turkey because of did not understand the situation. In this case it became a strategic winning for Russia. But the world is not just Syria. Therefore, the Turkey problem for the United States has become larger than in Syria.

.
What would probably happen as a result:

Turkey defeats YPG.
Turkey + FSA Rebels occupies Northern Syria
Turkey moves Syrian refugees to Northern Syria and provides security.
Ongoing insurgency for years to come.
U.S Influence destroyed in Syria.
Israeli Influence destroyed in Syria
Iranian & Russian influence cemented in Syria.

Biggest Losers -> Israel, U.S, Separatists.

The fundamental objective of American intervention in Syria was to [destroy] ISIS there, and save Iraq in the process (Operation Inherent Resolve). It had nothing to do with Syrian regime or Turkish agenda.

I have been stating the obvious for years in this forum, and my observation is up to the mark.

American intervention in Syria was a necessary evil to save Iraq from ISIS (Operation Inherent Resolve). US evidently distanced itself from the matters of Syrian regime, and is seemingly onboard with Turkish agenda in the region.

Israel is not done with Syria though; Israel will continue to strike at Iranian elements in Syria until Iran is pushed from this region. Trump administration will extend its unconditional support to Israel in this regard, and it have imposed heavy sanctions on Iran in connection.

US is looking forward to settle for a reformed/stable Iraq, allowing Turkey to do its bidding in Syria [this agenda will become clear in time], and removal of Iran from Syria. I'd say that this is a well-thought endgame from American standpoint.
