Hope you know, rape is a crime in every non sharia country, incl. Britain.
Actually rape has a broader definition in western law, as compare to Pakistani version of sharia, where only ejaculation in state of penetration is considered as rape.

I was quoting @Stealth about why only 22 years of prison is given as a punishment, whereas in the Sharia law, the rapist(s) should be given capital punishment(Hang till death, beheading, stoning etc).

To all the mujahids so interested in suddenly imposing sharia law in cases of rape, its well and good that you want punishments but you don't need sharia to impose harsh punishments against the guilty. The real problem isn't harsh sentences but the extremely low conviction and report rate of rape which is why rapists are walking free.

P.S : Sharia law also demands that a person cannot be convicted until there's 4 witnesses to the act (yes because its more important to WITNESS the act rather than stopping it and women are supposedly so stupid that they don't realizr they're being raped)

I didn't say I'm fine with the punishments you muppet I just said that sharia law doesn't need to be pulled into everything as the sharia itself has some pretty non sense laws regarding rape.

last time Zia ul Haq tried it, and it went against the blind girl, because she could not identify the rapists
and because she had admitted the act had happened, the case was turned against her, and she was found guilty and sentenced 3 years in jail, and 15 lashes

DNA was present at that time as well, however due the wrong version of Sharia law, DNA was not allowed and the victim required witnesses instead.
