Two killed in suicide bombing targeting Chinese nationals in southwest Pakistan

There is no way terrorism in Pak will reduce as long as Bajwa is sitting on top.

Laid back lazy general earning kick backs from cpec
Might be BLF

It is again makran region. Also BLF has done such suicide attacks against Chinese in the past
You need to say RAW
BLF or BLA for sure.
And we also have the TTP regrouping across the border.
Anyone know if we are able to bring back General Raheel Sharif?
Raheel sharif lol the cousin of scoundrel nawaz sharif eh?

The nature of warfare has changed. Growing frustrations of the enemy was always going to result in targeting softer targets.

Gwadar had been in the news for PM visit recently.

Vigilance is of top most priority.

Is it time for me to pull my investments out from gwadar and invest somewhere else? I was thinking of having a nice seaside villa to retire.

QUETTA, Pakistan, Aug 20 (Reuters) - A suicide bombing targeting a vehicle carrying Chinese nationals in south west Pakistan killed two children and wounded three on Friday, police officials said.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

"Two children have been killed and three injured in the attack," Liaquat Shahwani, a spokesman for the Balochistan government, told Reuters.

The suicide blast took place at the East Bay Road in the port city of Gwadar around 7 p.m.. Chinese nationals sustained minor injuries, a police statement said.

Gwadar is in the southwestern province of Balochistan, where separatist militants have waged a long-running insurgency.

The attack came after the bus attack in the northwestern Pakistani province of Khyber-Paktunkhwa in which 13 people, including nine Chinese workers and two Pakistani soldiers were killed earlier in the month. read more

time go go after sleeper cells. the roots have been cut in afghanistan, sleepers will die off soon

While an Indian intelligence presence in Afghanistan aids their agenda, it is not essential.

Will that do?
I would've liked it if you could be more specific.

Thing is , how do they always know the exact travel route of Chinese?
Obviously they have people on the inside and on ground surveillance?
How come this ring hasn't been broken , still.
This isn't the first time and the pattern is the same every time.
This is beyond fishy .
People In the government and Law enforcement are supporting Balochu terrorism on tribal loyalty basis and Balochi nationalism. Otherwise such repeated accutte attacks couldn't be possible.
Their clan leaders hate any development and would rather blow it up. Then cry rivers about how backwards the province is.

This is the time when you go on your own offensive and launch your proxies inside India. Look how openly they fund proxies in Pakistan and our military brass doesn't do anything about it.

With India virtually gone from Afghanistan (with its "consulates" shuttered and its embassy vastly reduced), how much longer are you going to blame India? Will you finally realize that there may be other factors, other players other than India?

And the reason Pakistan doesn't launch proxies in India is that Pakistan's situation hasn't changed with the Taliban in control in Afghanistan. It's under financial duress (made worse with the Taliban) and the sword of FATF still hangs over it, among other things.

The Taliban is not a terrorist organization, and your country will cooperate with it.

India will determine with whom it will cooperate. As long as the Taliban don't make Afghanistan to India's interests, there should be no problem. But it's the Taliban that needs to show that it can be cooperated with and not just be Pakistan's proxy.

there are two talibans, good ones and bad ones.

No such thing as good or bad Taliban. It's all Taliban. If the Taliban made such a distinction, it would not have released TTP given how Pakistan feels about them. There's a thread on PDF talking about how TTP are already in Waziristan. Interesting times ahead.

Rip to the deceased, now the TTP or BLA sleeper cells are using young boys to target security forces and Chinese nationals, timely action by plain clothes men helped to save many lives, otherwise the body count would have been much higher, intelligence agencies need to work overtime and track thier facilitators down.

Gwadar needs safe City cameras as soon as possible.

Thing is , how do they always know the exact travel route of Chinese
Because there's only one road into Gawadar and port.

Obviously they have people on the inside and on ground surveillance?
Because they travel in large convoys along with FC vehicles.

How come this ring hasn't been broken , still.
Because it can be a different group of people every time, plus identifying a convoy that large isn't difficult.
People In the government and Law enforcement are supporting terrorism. Otherwise such repeated accutte attacks couldn't be
Agreed, if police helps thieves, then they can help terrorists as well, especially since how much they're paid. However our incompetence is our biggest enemy.
With India virtually gone from Afghanistan (with its "consulates" shuttered and its embassy vastly reduced), how much longer are you going to blame India?
It's not even been a week since Kabul fell, it'll take time for the remnants to die off.

I wonder who will Pakistan now blame in the next press conference for this attack. They cant even blame India now that we left Afghanistan.

A full scale ops to eradicate he remnants at the bordering areas including Afghanistan is a must....
We need to create a buffer zone in agreement with the Taliban inside the Afghan border to ensure the terrorists don't infiltrate into Pakistan and their supply lines are disrupted.

Wow, horrible!

China is Pakistan's ally.

We must root out the scourge of terrorism in our country!

Usually we think better of Chinese because they are more honest than western countries.

Pakistan Army should recruit local informers, as police does.

The deceased have been identified as 11-year-old Salman s/o Khuda Bakhsh and 10-year-old Salman s/o Haider Nagori.

Derailing CPEC is a key US objective.

Please keep your silly conspiracy theories to yourself. If the US had a problem with CPEC, CPEC wouldn't happen, take a good look at your neighbor Iran and let me know how much FDI Iran has seen in the last few years.
