I go visit my village every year and actually love the 3-4 weeks I spend in my house in the village overlooking the hills where I enjoy walking with my cousins dog. But sadly I can't see myself moving there. I would love to. It is my blood. My people. My clan. But sad fact is it will take another 3 generations for Pakistan to reach a level where I move permanently. Since I will be long gone that will never happen.
My dad was buried last month after he passed away in local Muslim cemetery. That is where I will be interned. It would be nice if it was next to my grandad in Pk but alas that is not to be. Many more like me will die far way from their motherland. So don't worry about me be load on that racket called PIA which has fleeced us for decades.

Mine was released from this life. I say released because he was 86 and had been on dialysis for three years and last 6 months were simply torture. Sometimes it's time to go. He had a long, happy and prosperous life. Of course it still hurts despite I having a difficult relationship with him. For two days he had gone into semi-comatose stage and I held his hand and asked him who I was./ He opened his eyes and barely audible he said my name. next day he was gone. Now he rests under the big sky. I often go and pray in the evening. Kind of relaxing. Death is the greatest equalizer there is. Muslims, Christians, Athiests etc all lie in the same turf.
There will be no answers to such questions...indians and pakistanis are hypocrites of highest order....they leave their shitholes on the first given opportunity and still dare to glorify their filthy countries with complete audacity....corrupt and selfish to the core...no regards for fellow humans or society..yet they call themselves patriotic people...for them the only measure being patriotic is cheering their country in a cricket match.
What really annoys me most is that having migrated to the west or by act of volition continue living in the west most of our people - more Pakistan then Indian refuse to accept or learn why their homelands are shitholes and why western countries are doing better. In fact from my POV Pakistani's become even more insular, radical and begin hating the west even more.
