Turkish War College visits JFC Naples

The Turkish War College Chief of Staff and 77 current War College students visited Allied Joint Force Command Naples Headquarters as a part of an educational tour on July 3, 2013.

Lt. Gen. Leonardo Di Marco, Allied Joint Force Command Naples Chief of Staff met with Maj. Gen. Mete Salt during an office call to talk about the command's lines of operations and future challenges. The students received an
orientation tour of the new Lago Patria headquarters as well as a briefing about the NATO organization, tasks and missions of JFC Naples. The War College is one of the
highest level of education and training in the Turkish Armed
Forces. The course aimed to instruct general staff officers on the planning, directing and controlling techniques at the level of joint and combined headquarters. JFC Naples is currently on NATO Response Force (NRF) standby. The NRF is a highly ready and technologically advanced multinational force made up of land, air, maritime and Special
Forces components that the Alliance can deploy quickly to
wherever it is needed.
