Also these projects means money for ASELSAN and this means more money for R&D in any field ASELSAN wants...

Domestic train will be ready 2,5 years later...

Note: Guy says 'domestic train' but in the news it shows Domestic High Speed Train's design... I guess official guy is talking about diesel train not High Speed Train, i don't know...

At last visit of Erdoğan to Azerbaycan he told about that project... Türkiye part is getting ready... Now Ankara is connected to İstanbul. West side is nearly done. Now construction of Ankara and Sivas city is going on. All projects are ready. From time to time, step by step they open new tenders for construction. Step by step network is being settled up. Now i'm using phone. So if you can look at where Sivas is on our map you'll see answer of your question. Sivas to İstanbul will be ready soon...

Thanks, what about the rail road which connects Nakhchivan in Azerbaijan to Georgia through Kars, and Igdir?

As I said Erdoğan talked about that in last visit. I'm sure but i don't remember exact words of him... Maybe you can find it IDK... Or when i get on PC i may find exact words too...

Thanks! I was looking for this project. I think the Georgian part has a delay. They have finished it from Azerbaijan border to SouthWest of Tiflis though. but, rest of it to Turkish border is delayed.

The Turkish Georgian border crossing is underground as seen in the picture above, i have no clue why, would be interesting to know.

Maybe to avoid rail road getting close by snow and rocks in winters or avoid high steep hills. I don't know, though.

I thought maybe to avoid terrorist attacks but doesnt make sense either since only a small part is underground.

There are 3 domestic train projects...

Diesel(DMU), Electric(EMU) and TGV...

Also news date is 8 months back... Maybe it's 90% now but as it seems we will wait Georgia...

rmi5, btw i looked about Erdoğan's words about the project but i see that he just slightly talked about it, nothing more...
