I never thought it that way. :)

My parents, my uncle, his wife, and my cousin are architects.

And i born in "Mimar Sinan Week"

So obviously , they named me Sinan. :)
Dont worry bout it,my name is also arabic.
My father was a Grey Wolf but he chose Arabic names:undecided:
We were three brothers Mevlut,Mehmet,Mustafa.

Btw, historically, majority of the surviving Turkic names until the republic are weird *** names, like Satılmış, Durdu, Dursun, Durmuş , Yeter etc. :D

My jewish relative gave me my name Timucin because he wanted a strong Turkic name for me

Ah Yaşar is also used, Aydin historically used, there is even a state like that , check "Aydınoğulları Beyliği" but I don't know if its survived until 20th century.I don' know rest.
