Maral is very old. In one of kyrgyz creation myths she's our mother. Jeren is also very old. One of chingiz hans wives name was jeren if I remember correctly. gulshen is generally associated with 13.14 century sufy poems. Tekin is tigin/ tegin in orhon writings and means son and governor.

One question guys do you all have Turkic names?
Or does someone of you have Arabic/Persian/Russian names?
Me and my father have Turkic names.
My mother and my big sister have Arabic names
And my little sister has a Persian name.

All of my family members have Arabic first names, but a Turkish surname.
I know i will give my children strictly Turkish names though.
