Turkish Special Operations Forces

Does Sarsilmaz produce M4 ?? or copy-replica?

Yes, they produced M4/M4A1 models under the Colt licanse in the past times. They were also producing Colt M16A3/A4, Colt IAR and ArmaLite made AR-10T, AR-10 Super SASS DMRs and AR 50 Anti-Material rifle. Those times they are producing their ownc 5.56mm AR-15 platform rifle named SAR223 and SAR109 (TE54) 9mm smg...

Quoted -Deno-

"Same as the 9mm sub-sonic ammo. It's much more effective than 5.56 or 7.62 in close distance because of it's silence and spread effect in body."

I will publish the box, it was no silent ammo. Maybe you will identify the ammo.

Remington 9mm Golden Saber 147 Grain Subsonic JHP GS9MMC Ammo - 25 Rounds per Box

Why the most professional, trained elitte soldiers or killers use M4 5,56mm caliber? If 5,56mm couldnt penetrate or kill, why SAS would prefer (and other special forces in the world)
I am only laughing to somebodies who tell 5,56x45mm caliber doesnt enough for Turkish Army :)))))

Moreover , Average Turkish people not high-strong and sportive, so how do they controll the recoil of burst fire .308caliber?
SASs know best!
power isn't why Turkish army insists on 7.62x51 weapons.

If you look at a geographical map you'll realize that Turkey is a very mountainous country, and when you add elevation into the equation, the fact that "most gun fights happen within 100 meters" loses it's significance.

because that %10 of fights that happen over a range of 100 meters are going to happen it's inevitable.

SAT and SAS mostly deals with CQB, in fact in many picrtures you'll see them wielding MP5s...

Call me a dinosaur but I'd prefer G3 over M4 aswell and I'd keep a PDW around for CQB it's not like they are heavy
P90 for example.. it doesn't weigh anything at all

why does our special forsec not use rip ammo

Please read my message about hollow-point ammo on previous page properly. This kind of ammo do not really suitable for Military & LE service because of the facts I gave...

bro, sometimes you need stopping power more than muzzle velocity & penetration

you know Kriss .45 is a viable alternative to P90... and it makes perfect sense to use it with hollow point ammo
the problem is... that it's extremely inefficient on ballistic vests :D

But it's okay if you ask me, shotguns are crap at penetrating ballistic vests aswell but people can't stop using them for CQB

I've even seen hollow point 5.7 ammo but it's stupid I mean why would you use that right?

I agree with you , they are big producer and exporter.
But I 've question. Of course not for you:)
Why does Sarsilmaz sell their pistols much expensive for Turkish Market?
They don't need financial support from Turkish customers.
Sarsilmaz pistols cost retails 200$ in USA.
Their wholesale FOB price nearly 100$ for USA importer!!!!(with their interests)
Sarsilmaz pistols EXW cost (before the tax) for the MKEK nearly 300$!!
-3 time expensive!!-
And Turkish Goverment dont take special tax from local guns.
HSProdukt importer sells pistol to MKEK 200$!!Although HSProdukt and Glock and other importers havnt bis sales in Turkish Market so they dont have good price from factory.
Due to domestic producer protect, Also Turkish govermnet gives limited number of import licenses.

Inspide of all this, our big producer Sarsilmaz sells expensive pistol to Turkish customers (3 time more expensive). Is it patriotizm?

I'm not autherity but i know Sarsilmaz guns are cheap guns. Their quality doesnt cost this price.
Sarsilmas pistol couldnt pass test of Turkish Police Pistol. Turkish gun fans dont like them.
Sarsilmaz pistols bad copy of CZ mechanism.
And not Sarsilmaz, only KALE KALIP produce MPT 76 for Turkish Army!

According the your information, I dont trust Colt M4A1 anymore.
Untill i read your information, I had wanted to buy semiauto Colt rifle .223.

But now i would prefer Chinesecopy of M4 Norinco nearly 1200$
NORINCO Полуавтоматическое нарезное оружие (ружья) - цены и фото — Киев Украина ИБИС
If you hadnt told, I would buy Colt for 3000$:)

@-DENO-

It is CEPP only for LawEnforcement. But they are not more available. Was original from Finland. Don't worry I have licence to carry that on body not only for sports shooting.:police:

Controlled Effect Police Projectile. Able to penetrate some light bullet protection vests.

Why are not changing their handguard with a rail system and foregrip ?

Actually, the mid guy have foregrip attached to his HK-33...

Some of the HK-33 of Commandos, and gendarmerie SF modified railed handguard but not all of them. For the JÖAK it's pointless because they are already bought HK416A5 series assault rifles instead of their HK-33s like the Maroon Berets and Air Force CSAR units. But they are still waiting for the delivery...

For the MP5 some of the units are using railed handguard like SAT commandos and POlice SF units. For me it's not so neccessary because a SMG like MP5 you easily control the blowback of the SMG. And also it's much more lighter and smaller than a rifle so you really dont need a foregrip to carry it. Youc just need a proper flashlight like surefire handguard and a electro-optic sight like EoTech or Red Dot, whose are our guys have...
