What's new

Turkish Special Operations Forces

There is and won't be any. Acquisitions by SAT&SAS are done under what we call as "black budgets" in Turkish "Örtülü Ödenek". There are other new equipment bought to SAT as well. But yeah they have it.

So are you saying that SAT-SAS purchased AT-4 from the Black Market, and you are the only person to know about it? I don't see AT-4 being purchased from Sweden (who is a sipri member) without the world knowing about it.

Interesting. :undecided:

I just told what I have seen with my eyes. Nor I am the only person to know that. It definitely was not M72 LAW nor Kornet, there was a newly purchased MANPAD AT missile. If not AT-4, then there's a new at-4 like missile I don't know yet :/

They are SAT operators of the Turkish Navy (equivalent of Navy SEAL's). They usually engage the enemy within very close distance, in this example probably between 50-100m. So, they don't realy need a very accurate rocket system. They can easliy hit a enemy in the middle of the eyes with a RPG from that distance. No need to kill a fly with a sledgehammer.
According to latest Azerbaijani news, Turkey purchased RPG from Azerbaijan for their Police forces..

Guys do our guys have paintball or airsoft type trainings ? I think there should be this kind of trainings... Not only for specail forces but it should become prevalent in army... For example commandos should have this kind of a training too and for more soldiers that is possible and for police too...

NOTE: Kudos to guys from trmilitary, especially Deno.

There's one. Something like laserball. Officer/NCO Cadets, Cavalrymen, Naval Infantry, Amphibious Marines...etc. are subject to it :)

I think there must be these kind of trainings... Current trainings have no struggle with enemies... Operations against static targets.... But these kind of trainings have it and i think it would be so useful...

Military has plans to transform from a 1/3 pro force to a fully-professional force. For the Privates/CPLs/SGTs; We can see such fully configurated trainings only at contracted and specialist personnel. But in general terms, the training perspective of TAF issues significant importance to Asymmetric Warfare.
